Well I think it's still illegal. Just labeling it a replica is not enough to exempt yourself. The characters image and design is copyrighted. It's not illegal to reproduce it- just to sell it. Not that I care at all. The more I debate the issues of intelectual property and piracy, the more I...
Does anyone know if and when Armslength will resume selling puppets? As it is, they only sell the video how to's and scripts. The first professional puppet I bought was from them and it's still a fantastic puppet. But when I decided to go back and buy a second, they had a notice saying that they...
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it was a stage show that ran in the early 90's. It played at DisneyMGM Studios, right next door to Muppet Vision. It featured large costumed versions of the characters (and perhaps some on screen appearances?). I don't know what the storyline was or...
<<Those are the scariest Fraggles I have ever seen!>>
No kidding! When I was young, I had lots of grand schemes. I was always planning plays and puppet shows based on my favorite characters, and they almost always required complex recreations of these characters. I was learning to draw, and...
Wow. WHen you guys posted your first puppets, I wasn't very impressed, but they've developed into something really nice. You have some very interesting shapes going on and cool color combinations. Skippy and Ziggy in particular look great! There are puppet company's online who've been selling...
How'd they do it? I mean I can think of several ways that the muppets were able to remove their facial features (velcro, magnets, pins, etc...) but I'm just curious which method was usually used. Actually what really makes me curious is how features were attached quickly like in the Vend a Face...

Looking at these, I would think tons of people would have them, yet I've not seen them discussed on this forum. They are comparitively inexpensive and have lots of options design wise. Plus they look pretty muppety. Anybody have one? I have two and was just curious what...
What's her name? She was a human muppet who was always talking in a really loud annoying voice, and the punchline always grew from how loud she was. I searched the Muppet Show Character Index and couldn't find her anywhere. She's always been pretty memorable to me.
The fraggles are cool to do replicas of cause they are identifiable as a "species" but you can mix and match colors and designs for a unique character. Please post pics of your finished fraggle. I'd love to see it.
One thing that I noticed about the fraggles that is not necessarily a given...
Well I got a message from Todd at Muppets Holding COmpany some time ago and was just looking at the note I jotted down. Somethings wrong. I wrote Sat the 23rd of Sept, but the 23rd is on Friday. Does anyone know which is correct? Thanks.

I don't part with many of my Muppet things but I just put this up on ebay. If anyone's interested, have at it.
Help with individually inserted hair (feathers)
I have one of the beautiful puppets by Keeermit and one of the many great things about it is that the hair is actually stripped Ostrich Feathers individually inserted into the fleece. They stand up nice and stiff, but wave in the breeze. It's a...
I'm guessing by foam , you mean something denser than Scott foam, which would appear to be what his nose was made out of in subsequent versions. Or they just covered it in something much stiffer. That original nose really has a solid, painted texture to it, whereas Scott (and other upholstery...
Disney's so careful nowadays with their own characters- making sure that there's total consistency throughout the company, that I'm surprised that they would be so cavalier with their new acquisitions, the Muppets. Back in the 70's and 80's, there was a main voice for Mickey but he really only...
