Probably the same reason why, on the Simpsons, Maggie is still a pre-verbal one-year-old, and Apu's octuplets (who were born a couple of years ago) seem to be about two. Some kind of temporal distortion that selectively affects members of particular TV shows...
I loved it! It seemed like an odd setting for Grover, but I thought he handled himself with typically cute and furry dignity. I really think Eric's doing a terrific job with Grover's character.
Ahem... Now that I feel silly for not reading the rules and not knowing that the winner can take more than one person... :o

I recently finished Susanna Clarke's "Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell." Really terrific novel.
Well, a lot of people will have seen Star Wars the night before, and a lot of parents may feel safer staying home and watching this with their kids, since George Lucas has said that Episode III will be too intense for some younguns. So maybe this will work as counter-programming?
Yeah, me too. There's probably a point at which completism or perfectionism becomes impossible, but it sounds like Disney is really trying hard to make these releases something special for the fans.
Well, may the Force be with all of you. I don't think I'll be at the midnight show, myself--a drowsy Jedi wielding a lightsaber is a dangerous thing. But I'll be ready for the first available show the next day. I'm so excited for Star Wars!!
