Hey, for the Mac people who are having trouble watching this, it seems as though you can now watch it through IE. It still doesn't seem to work in Safari, but it looks like they've resolved the problem through the Mac version of IE. So this bodes well for future installments...
Some of these, though, might still be under conditions where they could use the closed circuit TV feed into the monitor in the suit. I wonder what determines when they can't do that...
I thought it was just archival material too, but I wish that Disney and Sesame Workshop would forge some kind of mutally-beneficial cooperation pact so that we could really see crossover material again. Maybe only on projects that they both approve?
Which? The Muppet Movie and Follow That Bird, or Big Bird in China and Big Bird in Japan. I'm just guessing here, but I'm assuming that much of the two "Big Bird's Travels" specials were on location, whereas the others were on a set. But I have no real way of knowing...
Finally got to see it, and I really liked it. The adult humor wasn't TOO adult, and I really liked Steve's Statler. I thought the "remakes" comment at the end was funny too.
We saw Bewitched yesterday. I can't believe how negative most of the reviews are--it was fun! Not the best movie of all time, but a pleasing romantic comedy that had many laugh-out-loud moments, and did a good job of paying tribute to the original series while trying something new. Overall, a...
Yeah, I still can't see it either. But Tiger is fun--my school licenses the use of it, so I only had to pay about $11 for my copy! If only I could see Statler and Waldorf...
 :boo:
I still haven't been able to see it! I'm running Mac OS 10.4 with Quicktime 7, and I've tried it on my wife's Mac running 10.2 and Quicktime 6. Can't view it from Safari or IE. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really want to see it...
That's a good question. I have fond memories of the 89 original, but I haven't seen it in a very long time, so it's hard to judge. I'd say that the new one, though, is at least tied for first with that film. Especially if you want a good exploration of Batman himself as a character, this is a...
Really enjoyed Batman last night. It wasn't the end-all-be-all of summer moviegoing, but it was really well-done and I think it was the movie it had to be to reintroduce Batman as a film charater after the last one. What I especially loved was how good all of the actors were. They all played...
Seriously! I'm thrilled that he's doing Superman, but I think that the studio behind X-Men should have had enough respect for him and the work he's done to just delay the film by a year or so. Then he could do both, and that would be super-cool. (Or mutant-cool, depending on which franchise...
To me, that's one of the things that makes it interesting. Sure, some of Anakin's actions later on in the film aren't rational--he's too far gone for that. Every step he takes toward the dark side makes it harder and harder for him to come back from it. By the time Padme and Obi Wan meet him...
