Sorry - Svengoolie is a local (Chicago area) character who comments on old horror flicks - a la Mystery Science Theater, if that's gone international. Viewers call in and the winner comes to the studio to throw rubber chickens at him during the closing credits. :D

Though, Trekkie, Star Trek had only 80 or so episodes, and SS has somewhere between three and four thousand (figuring there were 134 episodes per year for at least the first 25 years - don't know when they made the painful decision to do 34 per season) So I don't think we'll get this soon - but...

Have you all looked at the terrific liner notes - a real history of SS music - by none other than Christopher Cerf! I didn't know he worked for Between the Lions, too - or that his segway into SS was through Harvard Lampoon! Ssetta must be happy!
