Kim: Rats!
Boober: Where?
Kim: Figurative rats, Boober.
Boober: Oh.
Gillis: What's the problem this time?
Kim: The price of a book I wanted to pre-order online; the total's bigger than what I've got left on my gift card. I knew I shouldn't have gotten that FoxTrot book while I was at B&N...
No offense, but that's kind of a ridiculous reason to hate a movie IMO.
The name change came because Wham-O, the company that manufactures the Frisbee toy, was concerned about trademark infringement if "Mrs. Frisby" was used in the movie. From the Wikipedia article on the movie:

Kim: Well Boober, I must say you did a terrific job as a presenter for the awards ceremony.
Boober: Thanks, but did Ed really have to bring Sidebottom into it? *shudders*
Kim: Aw, you love the guy and you know it.
Boober: In small doses.
Tosh: Kim, are you okay?
Kim: Yeah, Tosh; why do you...
Tosh: Kim, I'm hungry!
Mimzy: Yeah me too.
Kim: Hang on... *riffles in purse, pulls out a bag of Doozer sticks and hands them to the younger Fraggles* Go easy on those, guys. They're all I brought.
Gillis: Why not let them get something from the refreshment table over there?
Kim: Because...
The Secret of NIMH - IMO, this is Don Bluth's best work. Beautiful writing, excellent voice casting and work and a masterful score by Jerry Goldsmith. It can't get much better than that.
The Last Unicorn - One of the most faithful book-to-movie adaptations I've ever seen. The animation by...
Aside from being the ultimate nasty dogcatcher decked out in armor, Cooler's number one enemy, the destroyer of Wagga-Wagga, Katrina Stoneheart's sometimes-business partner and Brattina's crush object...
...I have no idea. ;) :p

What he said! Avatar is, perhaps, the best thing to come out of Nickelodeon since, well...in a long time, let's just say.
Also, I have to give mention to another favorite series of mine that used to air on Nickelodeon way, way back in the day: Mysterious Cities of Gold.

Hence its...*ahem* "affectionate" nickname of "The Pit of Voles" or just "The Pit".
I have an account there, under Lady Iapetus the Roving Wanderer. Haven't posted anything since 2005, though.

Man, I loved Pound Puppies! IMO, the first season was infinitely better than the second (aka the "All-New Adventures"). The characters weren't watered-down versions of themselves, Puppy Power wasn't used as a deux ex machina and the episode plotlines were actually clever. I mean, how can you...
Gillis Fraggle is my favorite, and I'm not just saying this because he's one of my roomies at MC Dorms. Or because he was one of Richard's characters.

I've always liked the parable of the dragonfly (fyi, dragonfly larvae are called 'nymphs' or 'naiads'). I first heard it when my great-grandmother passed away and my mom gave me a booklet that had that story in it.
If he did, I'm sure it took him a while. He'd have to recover from the...
Boober: (blinking) You're home early.
Kim: Yeah. Weather's really cruddy, so the boss closed us down early. The parking lot was practically a skating rink.
Boober: Eucch. Good call.
Gillis: Indeed. Tonight's a good night for staying inside anyway.
Kim: No arguments there.

Happy birthday, MC! Here's to the next ten years!
1. When did you first visit Muppet Central?
No; the real question is 'can I remember back that far?' ;) I joined the forums back in August of '02, shortly before or after beginning my senior year at another MC (Monmouth College). But I'm...
Kim: (as Gillis enters, humming) Well, you certainly seem in better spirits this morning.
Gillis: Yes! Listening to that podcast last night, it...well, it definitely helped. Steve did a marvelous job.
Kim: Yeah, he certainly did. He deserves extra karma points for putting all of that...
I'm just wrapping up listening to the podcast, but I just couldn't wait any longer to comment.
Long story short (because I'm just not as eloquent as the rest of you), I loved it. I really felt like I received an education not just in Richard the performer but Richard the person. I loved...
Gillis: So when are we going to get to hear the podcast?
Kim: Hold your horses, Gillis. It's downloading onto iTunes right now. We'll tune in when I get home from work tonight.
Tosh: Tonight? Why not right after it's downloaded?
Kim: For one thing, I'm running the virus scanner on the...
Yeah. If you've ever seen the Wicked segment of PBS' Broadway: The American Musical there are a couple shots of Morse as the Wizard during the curtain calls in San Francisco, but that's it.
I was able to get my hands on a track of Morse singing "Wonderful" from the San Francisco run...
Okay, HOW in the wide blue ever-lovin' heck did I miss this thread before? Nebermind; water under the bridge and all that there.
He was. I've got the soundtrack (yet to be imported into iTunes, unfortunately), and he's just as good as he is in HTSIBWRT. My favorite track, by far, is...
