I had a dream not too long ago that I was walking around town with Jim Henson and Frank Oz.
Man, was I ever disappointed when I woke up and realized it wasn't real.

Was it actually stated that Teeth was their producer?
All I know is that he appeared in the background during "Music Keeps Rolling Along".
I really haven't seen very much JHH. Sadly.
What an awesome show.

When the Beatles recorded "Sheik of Araby", at the end of every chorus, one of them (not sure which one) goes "Uh-huh".
It sounds _exactly_ like one of the Martians on Sesame Street!

Personally, I think that the so-called Muppet universe is, in fact, the real universe.
Think about it. The Muppets make appearances on talk shows and so forth, and the idea is for us to believe that these characters really exist in the real world.
And on these talk shows, they frequently...
I didn't see this show. What was "the pot reference"?
Actually, I can probably guess. I have a bunch of friends who aren't Fraggle fans and who are always looking for drug symbolism in Fraggle Rock. It's actually pretty easy to find if you're looking for it -- pretty much anything is easy...
In addition to the ones you mentioned, I've always thought of:
Nelson and Hunt (Floyd and Janice, Pa and Junior Gorg, the two-headed monster)
Goelz and Whitmire (Gonzo and Rizzo, Boober and Wembley)
Prell and Mullen (Red and Mokey, Wingnut and Cotterpin)
Clash and Brill (Elmo and Zoe...
One of my favourite things about that is the outtakes.
Telly: "Hey Bert!"
Bert: "..."
Telly: "Bert? Ah, he never talks to me."
or...
Ernie: "All you need, Telly, is a word that rhymes with-- oh, rats! Aagh!"
Telly: "Rats... Uh, flats!"
:)

Yeah, I wrote to Mr. Goelz myself a few months ago. I sent him a photograph of Travelling Matt that I photocopied from one of the Fraggle Rock annuals, and asked him to sign it for my friend Kate (Matt is her favourite Muppet), and he did! Totally awesome!

Wohoho! This means that not only are Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Jim Henson Hour, Dark Crystal, and Farscape all part of the same universe...
But so are Dinosaurs and, by extension, Monster Maker!
Think about it!

Here's a question. I'm a student in my first year of university. I'm going for a bachelor of science with a major in biology.
However, in addition to a fascination with biology, I'm also toying with the idea of a career in professional puppetry. I've never taken any puppetry courses, or...
No, I think it was Gobo. It was in the Great Outer Maze, wasn't it, in the episode "Gobo's Discovery"?
This sighting of Fizzgig, of course, proves that Sesame Street and Farscape take place in the same "universe". I'm serious. Anyone else see the connection? I'd award a prize if I had...
