The kind of tape I'm thinking of couldn't hold anything on fur or fleece.
Anyone know of any good exercises/stretches that can help make my arm hurt less when keeping it up in the air with puppet for extended periods of time?
I know this isn't really a tech forum but this post is about puppetry.
I've seen alot of 3D applications for digital puppetry. Does anyone know of any methods or peripherals that allow real-time puppeteering of a 2D digitally animated character in a vector program like Adobe Flash?
Has anyone attempted to gut a Master Replica Puppet and make it into an actual puppet?

Does anyone know what kind of mics are these and if a similar thing is available on the market?
Does anyone know of anything ordinary upholstery foam cam be treated with to lengthen its longevity/durability? I know an ordinary puppet can last about 10 years before needing repair or replacement.
Anyone know of any diagrams or explanations on how the Giant's moving jaw is achieved? Its not animatronic. I know it was mentioned on the Jim Henson Hour Secrets of the Muppets episode.

Hey guys,
Been a long while since I last posted.
I've recently started a new project that involves live up close interaction with kids. Most of the stuff I've done was filmed or on stage.
In my focus groups I've noticed kids are always touching the puppets, an obviously undesirable thing...
Anyone know of any good techniques or materials for giving polyfoam various textures that resemble real objects such as a saucy meatball (glossy) or a brick (brittle).
If you watch this Mr. Oizo video, by the sausage part you can see he hs the ability to move his fingers. Anyonenknow how this is achieved?

I got a huge 1" sheet of some very dense grey foam. It was used as padding in a box. Does anyone know what kind of foam this is? Would it be suitable for making puppets?
