Your right, Mrs. Pepper, their glory days are way behind them - that's why Disney bought them. They want to give them the financial shot in the arm they need to be (to paraphrase Disney), put back into the mainstream.
And I also agree w/ Romano 100% about their current state having nothing...
I see your point, Gordon. I mean, I do find the commercials cute & see nothing wrong with them hawkin' stuff on TV. But I also don't think Disney would have bought the Muppets just to let this happen. I think this'll be a good year for them w/ their new TV show, etc. We'll have to wait and see...
(I'm not being sarcastic here, I'm asking honestly...)
Do you think anyone at MHC reads these posts? And if so, would they bother trying to figure out who's posting compared to who'd be on their current shortlist? And if they did, would they care enough for it to make a difference in their...
Cool!
So... since they're still in the decision making process, who here made callbacks? How many were there and in what city? And who at the agency calls made it to the hold-the-muppet-in-front-of-Martin-Baker stage (agency people didn't have to do this apparently dreadful ping-pong thing)...
Yes, those are all true...!
I was referring to the line, "Still the management is cheerful though the whole joint's gone to ****, sung by Janice in the movie, but Scooter on the album. I know, I know "Are you sure? They're both Richard Hunt!" But there's clearly a difference...
I'm not too crazy about her hair these days. Too thin and feathered. I like it best in Great Muppet Caper!
Wait a sec...What the heck am I doing taking about a puppet's hair???
You're absolutely right! Good ear.
Moose I think has a sensible answer there.
Another similar thing happens in the song "Happiness Hotel" - can anyone guess which characters and what line?
Hey Fozzie Kevin, I re-read my post and I think it does come across terse and a bit over-the-top in the sarcasm dept.
I hope you accept my appologies for coming across too crassly. I guess my dry humour took on a life of it's own when typed out. See if I were to say it to you live, It'd be...
If the Otter annoyed you, than it is most likely that he is indeed french. Heard that the li'l poutine-scarfing bugger had his trailer 'separated' from the rest.
Gonzo's nose is also smoothly curved, rounded at the end and more 'skin' tone than blue.
I would also think that they all get prepped up before each movie, if not some get completely remade.
Even Bunsen, Statler and Waldorf look totally re-done sometime between 'Space and 'Oz.
Can anyone ansawer this for me? In the Muppet Movie, during the song "Magic Store", Kermit sings this line, yet on the soundtrack album it's Fozzie.
Um... why?
Geez, what'd you expect after posting something like that? That's like going to a starving country saying, "Hey everyone, gather 'round me! Listen up, now. I personally know a very trustworthy fellow who has the keys to a barn full of fruits and vegetables!"

"DISCLAIMER...
And here's my Canadian award...
Y'know what, if we take the logic of the origin of this thread, does this mean that Fraggle Rock is Canadian (for real)?
Do your homework and you'll see which country it was done in, etc, etc, etc...
Not that I'd cpersonally claim it as so. We Canuks don't...
