Big Bird: (watches Grover and Herry run down the hall) Hi Herry. Hi, Grover. Where you running off to? We have Birdkateers soon. Are you coming? Oh, those silly monsters.
(in the workshop)
Ernie: (Wakes up and stretches) Oh what a long night. Not easy sleeping on a hard wooden bench. (sees some light coming into the room through the door which has been cracked open a bit) Hey! The door's open! Wake up everyone! The door is unlocked!
Bry: Really?! Oh...
Bert: (wakes up and goes into the kitchen) Okay, who's ready for a nice piping hot bowl of oatmeal for breakfast?! Hello? Hmm...maybe they all went to class or something already. Oh well...more for me! (laughs)
(In the basement workshop)
Bry: I can't believe we got locked in here. How did this happen?!
Telly: Oh no! Now we're going to miss the party!!
Bry: I think we've already missed it.
Telly: Then the Robot Kermit won't get the present we made him!
Ernie: I'm hungry. I wish we had some...
(Down in lab)
Bry: Hmm...this is going to take longer than I thought.
Big Bird: Don't worry. We're here to help.
Telly: Yeah! Cooperation, remember?
Bry: Thanks, guys.
Ernie: Hi, Maurice! Hi, Cookie Monster! Kyle is down in the lab working on a birthday present. Follow me!
Bert: Ernie, what about my paperclips?
Ernie: Just follow the plans I drew you. Come on, guys!
Bert: Hmm...Bernice, can you hand me some tape?......you're no help...
Ernie: Be right back, Kyle. Gotta get something from my room! (running into the room and sees Bert examining some paperclips) Bert, what are you doing? You're supposed to be working on your surprise birthday present for Robot Kermit.
Bert: I am, Ernie.
Ernie: It looks to me like you're...
Bry: Okay, thanks, Biff. Biff's cut out one side of the can making an opening. Now is time to screw the rollerskates onto the bottom.
Big Bird: Here are the skates.
Bry: Thanks, Big Bird. Telly, the screwdriver please.
Telly: Yes, sir! (hands over a screwdriver)
Bry: And some...
(confetti flies out of the can in Kyle's face)
Bry: Oops...sorry, Kyle. I really thought that one was real. Umm...anyway, I wonder what's keeping Ernie with that can.
Ernie: Here it is! (helping Big Bird drag the cleaned out metal trashcan)
Bry: And not a moment too soon!
Big Bird...
I don't know why I didn't catch this thread until today! I'm slowing down I guess. Good thing there have only been a few chapters. I won't get behind too much on this story like I have with everyone else's stories lately. I really like it so far Ed. It's making me laugh.
Bry: (sees Kyle with the tin cans) There you are. Oh wait...no, Kyle. I needed a trashcan. Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific.
Ernie: Why don't we just use one of the cans from outside?
Bry: Yeah, that will do. We don't have to use one of Oscar's personal ones. It might be...
Bry: I may meet you there, Kyle, but I need to first get Oscar to let me have one of his cans. Maybe you can convince him.
Telly: I got the tool kit!
Big Bird: And my old pair of rollerskates you asked for. What are you gonna do with them anyway?
Bry: You'll see.
Ernie: Can I come...
No, I respect your love and passion for the Muppets. I am just as big a fan as you, if not bigger. I want to protect them as much as you, but it hasn't been that long since the Disney deal. And while they haven't done a ton of new things with them yet, they have not been forgotten about...
The whole bad-mouthing Disney is just getting old, is all. I mean no offense to you either. In fact, my post was not just to you, it was to everyone. I understand people being upset with the Disney company for their own reasons, but when it spreads to a quarter of the threads on the board...
