...Oh, and you know what? I just realized that they DID feature a cover of "All Together Now" on Sesame Street during its first season! Learn something new everyday...
Some more ideas:
* "This Diamond Ring" (The Anything Muppets)
* "Happy Together" (sung to a large letter U)
*...
Here are my ideas (and this would continue w/ the 1969-74 era) Of course they should put more episodes from 1969-74, like the ones seen on Muppet Wiki.
Anyway...
The cover art: It would have a "psychadelic" backdrop/design, with Big Bird, Ernie and Bert looking at a TV with an "H" on it...
...
You know what else would be cool though?
Sesame Street DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION (DDR)!
Think about it: It could be made in Japan, and players can choose these characters:
*Big Bird
*Ernie and Bert (for 2 players)
*Oscar the Grouch
*Cookie Monster
*Grover
*Guy Smiley
*Herry...
I would like to see that short I remember seeing where the humans were on a real street. They see a garbage truck stop and it's Oscar. They chat for a while and he drives off. Anyway, it was a pretty cool scene.
And, there was also this one where Cookie is about to have some sort of party...
And, I found this extremely hilarious skit combining SS (Fisher Price Little People toys) with "Do the Right Thing" (Spike Lee)
And may I also add that THIS is what Robot Chicken *should have* done (or something similar at least, maybe not w/ the LP toys, but with the PVC figures) instead...
Sesame toys I had when I was a kid...
*Several coloring books
-Monsterpiece Muesem of art (or something like that...it had Cookie as Mona Lisa on the cover)
-one about space age and prehistoric days (cover had Oscar and Big Bird on it)
-Another coloring book. I think it was "What's Inside?"...
Could anyone make a list of what clips are used? If that is possible
Well, ones I know of are:
*Ernie and Bert at the movies
*An episode ID (man hits red gong)
*Grover: I Whistle a Happy Tune
*Oscar: I Love Trash
*Simon Soundman wants to use Ernie's phone
*Sherlock Hemlock at the...
You know, I just don't see WHY these "disclaimers" are so scary...even the "music" Ive seen them and those do not creep me out.
I just cannot recall anything about this show ever being scary to me.
Unless I'm stupid.
Which I am
Well...
(distracted by a squirrel)
OH...
That sounds hilarious.
Is it on YouTube yet by any chance? If it is, someone let me know, because I'd like to see it.
So finally they have Oscar. What did he look like in that sketch?
All we need is Grover (in puppet form), Count, Snuffy and Kermit.
...and I'd also like to see the appearance from the Dick Cavett Special (Cookie, Oscar, Big Bird...others possibly?) How about the pitch reel from 1969?
For me:
*Ed Sullivan Show:
-Oscar (orange) in 1969
-Bert and Ernie
*Flip Wilson Show
-Kermit and Grover (plus other Sesame characters besides Big Bird, Oscar, Bert and Ernie who did not appear)
*Scooby-Doo
-New Scooby Doo Movies:
*Cast of Sesame Street...Big Bird, Ernie, Bert...
Today I found two really great videos:
Oscar and Bob sing "Rain Falls", explaining the reasons why they both like the rain:

Ernie shows Bert his "A" Machine that he invented:

What is your favortie Sesame Street time period? Depends. I liked SS because it was the best way to combine reality with fantasy. However, I couldn't stand it when it became too "cutesy-cutesy" and fairytale-ish (ie
: Abby Cadabby). But I'll know a GOOD moment when I see one. But hey, even from...
Favorite Muppet(s)? See below

Favorite Muppet Show (The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, etc.)? SS/TMS
Favorite Muppeteer(s)? Caroll Spinney, Frank Oz, Jim Henson
Favorite Jim Henson character? Ernie, Kermit...
What I'd like to see on YouTube:
*More bits from past episodes (1969-late 90s)
*The Trading Game
*Out to Lunch special (now THAT would be a real treat)
*Julie on Sesame Street
*Jean Marsh/Grover Monster Cartoon Special
*Sesame Street Goes to Prison
*Don't Eat the Pictures...
Let me start:
*There's a series of short claymation segments on Nickelodeon called "Purple and Brown", and it's about these two purple and brown "blobs" who do nothing but act and laugh like idiots. And they look a bit like Cookie Monster (the 1969-1971 Cookie puppet, when his head was much...
