You just need a drill that cuts through metal to screw in the screws for the hinge. You should also expect the lid to not close perfectly once the hinge is on (just like on the show) because the hinge will cause the lid to be skewed and not square with the opening of the trash can.

Look what I just found: a commercial for Sesame Street Live from 1984:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Rbls0NW75A
It's "The Missing Bird Mystery" it says. I've heard about this several times, but what was the main plot/storyline of this?
I can recall a few times and probably more times than that Oscar would often prank Maria maybe a little more often than others.
Yeah I've noticed that too.
*There was also that time she went into his can to get a cup of sugar, and ended up getting dirty. Then, from what I heard, Luis comes...
If anyone's read the Episode lists at Muppet Wiki, you'll see some episodes from the third season (1971-1972), that have "The Sorting Song/Classification" Song. But I'm assuming that it's actually "One of These Things", but I could be wrong. Anyone know?
BTW, Oscar is quoted as being 43 years old
Or maybe, a 6 year old who ACTS like he's 43. Just a thought there. :p
I used to think that Big Bird was a female adult. Yeah I know, but come on, I was only what, 4 or 5 when I thought that.
Ernie does seem like an adult, especially when he's...
My mom told me that this is how it goes in Japan:
*Little (3-5) kids like Elmo and Big Bird
*When they get older, they like either Cookie or Bert
*Average ones like characters like Oscar (and the same goes for other characters)
Big Bird-6
Elmo-3 1/2
Snuffy-4
Grover-4
Cookie Monster-3 or 4
Oscar-6 (as my mom, also a Sesame fan, told me once. I guess that's fair to presume because many kids at that age do have a lot in common with him :P)
Ernie-5 (as said before)
Bert-older than Ernie (6 or 7)
Telly-4
Zoe-3 (or...
Count Spankula (Codename: Kids Next Door)-The Count
Steve (Married with Children)-Bob
Professor Utonium-Guy Smiley
Bloo (Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends)-Cookie Monster
Since I can't think of what else I should post here, and because I was so bored. Anyway, let's all picture what Sesame Street would have been like if...
*Since it was originally intended as a children's version of Laugh-In as they all say, imagine that it was consisted with sketches and...

See in this part that Oscar walks out on the street inside his can. Not with a guy in a costume, but it's in the same way as normal Muppets are handled by the Muppeteers. Which makes me think how come they've never done this before. Plus, Oscar's...
I saw it too. Man, that was hilarious! There was also a spoof of Pulp Fiction I saw called "Muppet Fiction" that had cutout photos of Ernie, Bert, Cookie, Count, Grover, Elmo, the Miss Piggy figure and Kermit in his motorcycle.
And, I saw a hilarious dub (which uses strong language and some...
Nanto has returned! Yay! :excited:

And, I found this great video:

Basically, Oscar (and that of his species, according to one Muppet designer when being asked to describe them), is made up of not just grumpiness, but also fun. These words best describe him: grumpy, hilarity, cheeky, messy, naughty, sarcasm, silliness...add up alll these and that's what you...
Why, whatever do you mean?
Well, a lot of Scooby fans have said that Scrappy killed the entire show (in the same way as Elmo, as they thought). But I wasn't exactly sure what I thought of him. I have to admit that I was kinda upset that they made Scrappy the "villain" in the first movie...
I remember the episodes with Telly's broken arm:
How it happened was that he was playing Triangle Tag with Elmo and he tripped over a bike which belonged to some girl named either Ruthie or Lucy...forgot which.
Also remember the times Telly and Luis went to the hospital for a check-up by...
My 2...5...10...er, 50 cents on this (hands 50 cents) Oh, no, now I'm almost out of cash:
While you think that 1985 was the year SS apparently started to go down, it's really late '78 that killed it---the "warm, nurturing comedy", and that of what is akin to a children's version of...
Do I think that Sesame Street should be canceled after its 40th season?
Let me put it this way: To me, the "good years" were 1969-1978--well, 1969-1974 being extra crunchy--er, good. Well, 1969-78 was the best time period. But yeah, I agree: whatever goes up must go down eventually. I mean...
