I wouldn't exactly say that "Frank's characters left the street". Even after The Muppet Show came about, there were still Ernie and Bert skits, as well as Grover, Cookie Monster, etc. Well, sure, they didn't appear "outside" anymore, but this is what you have to keep in mind: Remember in the...
oh no I agree 100% with that lol but the jim comment was a bit much...it was his choice of religion that kept him from doing what he really should with dr's not ignoring what dr.'s told him so that sort of botherd me.
Ive heard that. And I have to admit, I was sorta well...irked. I thought he...
I LOVE stupid humor! Especially the comedy/variety shows on Spanish channel. Oh man they are a riot. Other stupid humor I like are Monty Python and Benny Hill Show. Also Muppets Tonight.
Dislikes when a new show/cartoon/gameshow gets took off the air because it's not liked by other viewers...
*I Wanna Hold Your Ear-was covered on the show, but not by Bert. It had an anything Muppet woman who at the end became attracted to a tablecloth (after being serenaded by someone who was attracted to her but didn't feel the same way).
*Ernie presents...-I only know that A and U have existed...
I think this would be really interesting to see. I like the concept. Plus, I hear that Ernie and Bert are quite popular in Europe (mostly in Germany)
I think it's because it's only the two characters and not all of the characters. If it were ALL of the SS characters you can bet a whistle...
Here's some more ideas:
*Fozzie being heckled by Peter at a comedy club, and then Fozzie goes on a rampage and attacks him
*Peter has learned, "Never trust street bums" and it cuts to him on some inner-city street in NY and Oscar tricks him into buying something stupid. Of course, Peter...
I just saw the bit on You Tube. Kermit didn't have his collar on in it (must be due to copyright issues?)
I also noticed that Family Guy seems to be working to get every (major, that is) Muppet character on there (appearance, mentions, spoofs and props). I mean, so far we've had:
Ernie...
Daphne Blake (of course)---if she was real, I'd run up to her, give her a big hug and big kiss and say nice things about her all day long...:flirt:
Carmen San Diego was hot too : )
Hi. I'm starting on a simple hand/finger puppet (index finger to hold head and thumb/other fingers as arms/hands) anyway, Im wondering what is the best material to use to make the head. I already used some good material (sort of like plastic foam, i dont know how to exactly describe it), but...
you know you've watched too much classic sesame when...
You see a tin/metal trashcan and run up and bang on it, shouting "Hey Oscar! Are you in there?" I know I did once.
No really. I remember (when I was a lil' one) seeing a tin trashcan like Oscar's once (or close to it) and that's what I did
Here's some more:
1) Ernie and Bert were behind that brickwall and just out of the blue there was some sort of explosion and Bert was PINK! And it was followed by that "ending" music
2) Bob McGrath got his own sitcom. Didn't remember much about it, but the very last thing I remember was he...
I have been reading episode lists at Muppet Wiki, but there were some scenes that didnt really give much detail, so I'll ask you guys...
*Grover is afraid of Sam the Robot
*Oscar doesn't want David to be a lawyer
*Ernie and Bert move away from each other
*Cookie Monster makes Grouch...
cool hey i no this may sounds crazy because im a muppets fan but i used to be scared of the muppets even though i love them i used to hide behind the couch everytime i saw kermit on tv, lol
Hey you know, all us Muppet fans have some things that scared us when we were little ones.
And you...
There was an episode from around the 6th season (it's on Muppet Wiki) where this guy blackmailed Big Bird...who was he exactly? Was he a human or an Anything Muppet?
Music I love:
*Green Day
*Me First and the Gimme Gimmes
*Linkin Park
*Eiffel 65
*Simple Plan
*Sum 41
*Rage Against the Machine
*Haddaway: What is Love (liked the "dance" scene in "A Night at the Roxbury")
*"Weird Al" Yankovic
*60's Music (mostly the Beatles)...
Ha-ha, I love the Mad TV parodies of Sesame Street! They do a GREAT job with it! I also love their "Gordon." Very realistic and well-done. Their Big Bird also cracks me up. "Radiation poisoning, what's THAT?" It seems that Sesame Street parodies are becoming a recurring thing on Mad TV!
Maybe...
Oh yeah. They DID have Kermit there. Just remembered.
So it's 2 down (Kermit and Oscar). 2 to go (Snuffy and the Count)
Im not sure how they will be able to make Snuffy, as most of the "Muppet clones" are poorly made, but Im sure that they'll make him into a walkable costume like Big Bird...
What is your favortie Sesame Street time period? Depends. I liked SS because it was the best way to combine reality with fantasy. However, I couldn't stand it when it became too "cutesy-cutesy" and fairytale-ish (ie
: Abby Cadabby). But I'll know a GOOD moment when I see one. But hey, even from...
