Columbia Tri-Star will release 20 Muppet Show DVD's

Scott has a good point-- the duplicate release could hurt sales and falsley imply a lack of interest in the DVDs. Hopefully, vol. 16-20 will sell really well and the marketing folk will have the brains to figure that out. While I would love to see more episodes out on DVD, I'm glad it...

    Speech mechanism

I don't know if this would work, I haven't tried a small puppet yet, but what if you made the mouth with some elastic connecting the bottom jaw to the upper mouth and a string attached to the bottom jaw. Perhaps you could rig something where you attach a plactic loop to the end of the string...

For those who want Vanishing cream beaker...etc...

MM-III Thanks for posting this here where more people are likely to see it-- very good idea! It's easy to miss something in all the activity on the Ask Ken thread.

    Muppet Babies Clone

Dr Tooth Actually, the Sesame Street characters each have a specific age. I think Elmo is 3 1/2. Big Bird is six, though he started out younger. I believe Carroll Spinney talks about this in the A&E Sesame Street biography. I don't remember all the ages, but I think a lot of them are...

Columbia Tri-Star will release 20 Muppet Show DVD's

This is great! I hope volumes 16-20 include the extras that TimeLife has put on the DVDs-- the UK skits that were edited out of the US episodes and Muppetisms and whatnot. Perhaps there will be a US release of Of Muppets and Men, too....

    Ask Ken at Palisades

The limbs on my Robot Bunny were stiff, too, but they loosened up a bit and have become easier to move. You may find yours works better after it has been played with a bit. Not important-- but it wasn't me who asked about the circular keyboard.

Ken Foreignman, I believe posted the MAMA suggestion that got your attention. However, I suggested it weeks ago when you first asked about a robot connected to Pigs in Space. Of course what matters is that she gets made-- she's a great accessory for Strangepork and really works well with...

    Christmas Movie News

We probably shouldn't get too excited about the possiblity of Frank just yet. It says 'expected to return' which may mean they are assuming Frank will be a part of the production because they know Piggy is in the movie and Frank has traditionally been a part of Muppet productions. It is...

How do I attach a wig...

I usually do a combination of glueing and sewing. I prefer the sewing method because it tends to be neater (no glue mess) and holds well. Often, I will use fabric glue (no hot glue gun, so less danger of burns and easier to apply exactly where you want it) down the middle of the wig or the...

Tuxedo Kermit? Any tuxedo Kermit sightings yet? Has ToyFare shipped theirs?

GW Gumby About Bunsen's coloring... Bunsen is pale green. The picture of Bunsen, along with several other recent pictures, looks yellow or tan because of the lighting. But he is, basically, the color of a honeydew melon.

About the Pepe issue.... At the risk of opening a can of worms and getting flamed-- I think what people objected to with the Pepe in Series 6 poll was the idea of losing an already-announced character to make way for Pepe. If you read the posts that went with the poll, most people seemed...

    somebody please answer!

She's wrong. It is possible that that individual EB outlet will not be getting any but I promise you, they ARE available in EB stores. I bought mine at an EB last night. I saw them hanging on pegs on the wall. I know the manager at my local EB specifically ordered a case of the figures...

Series 1 Arrives: When and Where

Can't offer any explanation for the date change on the EB web site. But I can tell you my local EB-- in Silverdale, Washington-- has half a case left (I have the other half!! :D ). They expect to receive the exclusive Piggy tomorrow (Tuesday). Kermit is the only one I've taken out of the...

Series 1 Arrives: When and Where

EB at the Kitsap Mall in Washington got them today! I get to pick mine up in a couple hours! Weeee!! Toys R Us across the street from the mall does not have them-- or at least the employee I spoke to said they don't have them (she seemed to think they were a product they used to carry and...

Rizzo Hey Ken-- Some posts back you mentioned needing to learn about Rizzo real fast. Some may disagree with this (of course!) but, think Max Klinger (from MASH). First, they have the same nose. Seriously though, Rizzo and Klinger share a lot of personality traits (though Rizzo...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Wow-- got a figure! Absolutely right-- Rizzo would need to come with a street lamp. Given that Rizzo came out of TMS and has grown to be a very popular character, I think he warrants an exclusive. After all, by the time we get to Rizzo and Rizzo exclusives, the 25th anniversary year will...

    No Dennys Merchandise

Since there has been some speculation about whether Dennys will be getting Muppet stuff to sell in the restaurants, I emailed Dennys to compliment them on the new commercial and ask about merchandise. Here's the response I got: I haven't called Denny's Gear yet, but I kind of doubt they'll...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

I know you don't have license agreements for the movies, but I would love to see a Dickensian Rizzo. Actually, if you get JHC to agree, an entire series, scheduled for release just before Christmas one year (naturally), based on Muppet Christmas Carol would be great. Gonzo dressed as...
