It's hard to find many LPs for me nowadays, but I still have a pretty good collection and like to expand on it occasionally. It's so important to save these things. :)
I also enjoy older music and fashion and can name a lot of bands and lyrics when they're (rightly) heard on the radio...
Yay, I hit the jackpot! My library has a separate book store section where they sell old books for 50 cents. I already found two Sesame Street Treasury books (with Grover's Mom and the Two Headed Monster on the covers).
There was one with Forgetful Jones on the cover, but I decided not to be...
Just found this the other day. It's just a collection of clips and photos of Muppeteers, most of which we've probably seen before. But the group photo that appears at 1:39 on the video is new to me and very nice!

Oh cool, I was just thinking I wish they'd repeat that again. Great muppet appearance and one of the best Cosby episodes, especially for the regular actors. I remember seeing it when it was first on TV, such a surprise!
Bottom line is, nobody should feel insecure because they're single. I always hate it when schools put pressure on kids to have a date on Valentine's Day or to the prom (it does happen). Just because you're single at the moment doesn't mean you're worthless. And it doesn't mean you always will be...
I can understand why you'd feel nervous about asking the college people. But it would probably be a good idea, at least you'd know for sure. You don't want to make a mistake and have it be too late. :)
Good point, I hadn't thought of that. Interesting how these things feed into each other. It does seem that being too overbearing or trying too hard (the way Piggy and Gonzo do) are counter productive to getting what you want. Kermit is attractive because he doesn't seem desperate. :)
Well, perhaps it should renew people's hope. But I think most people tend to have the opposite reaction and it's perfectly normal. Hope is all very well, but it's difficult when you want something and you just don't have it, and other people do. Like how you don't enjoy seeing rich people on TV...
Absolutely! That's why I had that quote as my signature for awhile, it's so inspiring. We don't all have to like the same things, and no one should make you feel bad for breaking the mold! (As long as it's not harmful, blah blah, yes).
Another Bert song I love is when he encourges Ernie to...
Haha, good pun! Well, Scooter did once say his favorite part of The Muppets was the guest stars.
I agree, a computer would have been included if this was filmed in the '80s (the Amega from Commodore perhaps? Retro!). He probably would have played that game I saw in my dream! lol
Btw, I LOVE Scooter's room! Looks like he attended Yale (and a number of other schools), loves New York and worships Luke Skywalker! lol
My favorite line is earlier when he says, "I'm practicing for my big number in the second half of the show. I hope they love it!" He looks so cute sitting...
That's the way the world is, much like High School. There are a very small group of popular people who decide what's cool and what isn't. It's not about good or bad people necessarily, just about cliques and groups.
I love the discussions we have! And yes, it is good to give people the benefit of the doubt. I've found that occasionally offering kindness in the face of meanness can have a positive effect.
A lot of people have probably already seen this, but someone posted the Star Wars episode of The...
