    The RHLC!

A lot of things about Don't Eat the Cookies used to freak me out (like much of SS of course!). All the creepy shots of the statues and the weighing of the heart at the end. That's what I like about Sesame Street now, it sort of teaches you not to avoid your fears, to confront them because...

    The RHLC!

Don't Eat the Pictures is classic Sesame Street, fun and educational, hehe. It really showcases The Museum and all the exhibits to see there. Plus, it's a typical Muppet mixture; mysterious and spooky, but still sentimental and sweet.

Stupid dog!! My poor Kermie !!

Aw, I'm sorry, that's so annoying when that happens. My doggy used to destroy a lot of precious things (though of course, nothing was more precious than her). :) But that's how they are when they're young. Eventually you lay down the law and they usually get better. In the meantime, it's...

Ohh I love ancient Egypt, and The Museum is a great place to research it. Especially the temple of Dendur. Do you have the Don't Eat the Cookies special? They almost always have it at their gift shop. Say hi to Richard's ghost if you see him, hehe.

Yeah, I doubt anyone would complain about the AIDS quilt, it would be in bad taste.

    Lew Zealand appreciation thread

Hehe, I remember when The Muppets appeared on 60 Minutes. Morley Safer: How did a character like Lew Zealand get developed? Frank: How did Lew get developed? Lew Zealand: Well they needed a boomerang fish thrower and I was the only one! Morley: Some of those awful puns with... Richard...

Oh yeah I loved Fred and his sound effects! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw him star in Puppetman. I remember some of the Mousecateers formed their own mini singing group called The Party and sang songs like "King of Wishful Thinking."

    The RHLC!

Yeah the basic idea with Kids Inc. was that they were a singing group that played the latest hits in a club just for kids. Then in between time they'd have their little episodic adventure and learn a valuable lesson in the end. Lol, to be honest, I used to tune out during the songs (I guess the...

    The RHLC!

Definitely, back when kids shows weren't afraid to be a little corny. Now it's all cynical humor. Which has it's place, but within reason. (Wow, I've barely ever used that smiley!)

    The RHLC!

Well both Genie episodes actually had great messages, though different. The Fraggle episode's message is how important it is to stand up for yourself. If you keep quiet, evil will continue to grow. Years ago, that episode was scary! But even so, the message was loud and clear. In Kids Inc...

Well, I think it's great that you've set out to read so much of The Bible, I guarantee most people don't bother. :)

Yeah, when I first saw the tape, I think I had to catch my breath, I couldn't believe all these stories were in my hands, hehe. The person who sold the tape also included two SS toys, Big Bird and Elmo in little cars. Hmm...well I'll pretend it's '80s Elmo! I know we were talking about old...

    Sorry about complaint

Actually I'm not upset with Disney much at all, as the "modern" projects were having problems even before Disney came into the picture. And while we do complain a lot, in actual fact we've been pretty lucky with the amount of material the various companies have been reissuing lately. :)

Great Santa Claus Switch, yay! I always loved the "It's Christmas Time" song. Yeah it would be cool to hear those other things. :)

Aw, no prob, thanks! Yeah, it's fun posting stuff on Muppet Wiki. I'm just always paranoid about making sure I cite sources and all. I'm sure you'd understand being paranoid about plagarism, MuppetNewsgirl, being interested in journalism! Yay, the Sesame Street tape arrived today...

Oh that's interesting! He also did a voice over for the '70s Fantasy cartoon Wizards. Apparently, the director Ralph Bakshi needed a voice very quickly. Star Wars: A New Hope was being made at the same time, but George Lucas still allowed Mark to take a break to record it. Heh, back in the good...

    The RHLC!

That's a good point, I hadn't thought of that, Scooter and Luke are somewhat similar! Lol. Yes, they were born the same year and judging from Mark's performance on The Muppet Show, have very similar senses of humor! Hehe Btw, after watching idealistic, serious Luke Skywalker for so many years...

    Sorry about complaint

Well, it wouldn't be right to dismiss the new characters or films simply because they're new. But for me personally, it's honestly because the new projects have not been of the same caliber. The 'old' projects will never get old (heh). But I can't identify with any of the new projects, so it's...
