I don't think it's that some people don't believe in The Muppets anymore. It's that we have different opinions on what believing in them means. To me, it means acknowledging their best work, and wishing it was more accessible. We don't have to like everything new they come out with if that's how...
Well that is one option, and if anyone wants to do that, that's fine. Personally, I enjoy sticking with the classic material that we already have. I mean, they're the reason I post on this board in this first place. Not that all the new characters are bad, but I don't need to grasp at them. :)
I stumbled on this article the other day, looking up Mark Hamill/Star Wars stuff, imagine my surprise!
Look for Mark's answer to the very first question, the one about The Muppets.

Yup, and it's a big moment, considering how caustic Del was to Rita throughout the episode, hehe. It's amazing how a Muppeteer can have a conversation with their puppet, with their lips moving, and it still seems perfectly natural!
Yeah it's amazing what we can do today with technology!
Wow, this is a pleasant surprise. The Puppetman clip on the "Your Face!" website is finally working for me! (It never has before).

Fragglemuppet, it...
Yeah, I like both versions but sometimes those big production treatments are unneccesary. All Things Must Pass is so reassuring. I love that he wrote so many songs for when you're down and hopeless. He seemed to understand how that felt, and what needed to be heard to feel better.
Another...
No, that's a good point about the logo, Skye. I'll have to check it out again.
All kidding aside, it is really is a cute beginning with Scooter looking through the scrapbook gasping and laughing at various pages.
Ok, this was weird! Last night I dreamed that I was in some kind of class and we were reviewing for the upcoming big test. The teacher got up and announced (I swear), "Now it is time to Honk the Honk of Honks!" And it was perfectly normal, no one said anything!
We each had to memorize and...
Wondeful song, I often listen to it when I need inspiration or support. In his autobiography, George said, "This song is a prayer and personal statement between me, the Lord, and whoever likes it." Thanks, George!
"In My Life" is wonderful too, much deeper than your standard pop single.
I agree, well perhaps they were trying to save money that year! It was just strange, considering the other home videos made that year had well-furnished sets. ::shrugs:: Maybe this was the first one.
Hmm, well I'm glad you didn't mind the logo, Skye! I do tend to have an overactive...
Yay, one of the tapes arrived today! That was sooner than expected. It was the Children's Songs and Stories with The Muppets, hosted by Scooter. Well, as promised, I did watch a couple seconds just to make sure the tape didn't go boom as soon as it turned on.
Surprisingly, I found the...
That's awesome, FM! And great that you're more of a B.B. King fan than you were before. I'm not that knowledgeable of his music, but I love listening to it. Can't wait to hear more about the experience. :)
Yes, Martin Scorsese has been robbed so many times. I just saw Taxi Driver last night for the first time and it was one of the best movies ever. Yay for him!
Congrats on winning, Sarah!
Well they wanted to wait until all the movies were done. But as I always said, then they shouldn't have given them awards the two previous years. As much as I loved LoR, it wasn't fair to the other films.
