Yep, that's a lot closer. The original colours of his fur and nose weren't right not alone the texture. I am beginning to wonder how soon, if ever, we see the Gonzo replica for sale.
You'll be lucky to find them all. The Miss Piggy calendars from the early 80s had great parodies of classic movies but they are very difficult to find nowadays. Muppet Magazine had a lot of movie and music parodies and, of course, the t-shirts, greetings cards and calendars that were released...
Yeah, apparently Piggy and Rizzo are being prepared for release after Fozzie. I hope they choose an early Piggy model for the replica and they don't base it on the newer look. The new Piggy looks too glamorised. I prefer the Piggy with long, dark blonde hair and the darker skin-tone.
I've always loved Animal. He has always been my second favorite. Kermit was obviously the first. I love the look of Fozzie, I am very curious to see how a Rowlf replica would look too.
I went to see The Muppet Show On Tour (Second Run) when I was about 7. It was a surprise for my birthday. From what I remember it was amazing. The Muppet Babies bit was pretty short and not all the characters were present but they performed the Muppet Babies title theme. I remember that it had...
A lot of the original characters we only see in inserted clips appeared with the human characters on the street. It's a shame that some of the best characters are rarely seen in new skits.
I still think it might be down to adjusting him to suit when you get him. The original photos promoting the Kermit replica didn't look exactly right but a few squashes and tweaks in the right place and you could get him looking right.
Based on the prototypes, I think I will end up buying the complete set anyway (money permitting) but I hope the little "flaws" are fixed before they are mass produced. I'm sure they will be.
The prototype Fozzie looks better than any of the other prototypes I have seen so far. I really can't fault it (except his fur needs a bit of a brush).
Wow, Fozzie looks great. It seems that Terry wants to raise the nose and eyes a little but I think it looks spot on from the photos. Gonzo's nose is still worrying me. Make it from the wrong material and it will look kinda ridiculous. Animal still needs some work. His moustache doesn't seem...
This guy really knows his stuff! I remember seeing a program years back about "Cinerama" movies like How The West Was Won. They used more than one camera to create a panoramic-like picture.
I never really took to Pepe to be honest. Rizzo would be a nice one to have tho. Thay would have to dress him in his monogrammed jacket. I think a generic Muppet Show penguin might be nice to own too.
