Well I probably won't watch since the modern show and I haven't really jelled. Maybe if it had been called Sesame Street's Christmas Countdown, lol. Though, it is nice to know Grover will be there, he's always been one of my favorite SS Muppets. :)
And I am NOT a fan of the Sopranos and I...
Sounds a little suspicious. I'm not saying it's definitely false, something could be happening. And Dave/Gonzo saying they couldn't discuss something might be a good sign, hehe. But I'd wait for more information.
I'm a little doubtful about going completely digital in any case. Everyone makes...
To be honest, I was shocked when I heard there had been a voice change at all, I hadn't noticed! If I think about it, I probably like the original better, but both are good. :)
Wow, 4358 posts!
Yeah I can see either Scooter or Kermit being Harry. Or Scooter could be Neville (in a good way, he's a great character!)
Lol, yeah ninjas is a good word for it!
Interesting...Ok this is a clip from the Diana Ross episode of The Muppet Show. I've watched this a few...
Yeah I understand, I like most of Sex & Violence, except the interactions between Nigel and Sam, a little out of character and weird. I'm glad they settled on Kermit. Nigel was interesting, but a little dry and negative, lol.
Probably one of my favorite parts is Floyd saying, "Ladies and...
Hi Skye, nope we don't mind that it's a few days late, I was hoping someone else would respond to that question, lol. Just wondering, why didn't you like the Sex and Violence pilot? (I'm actually not too big a fan of the Valentines Special hehe)
I hadn't thought of it but I agree, it was...
Oh yeah! I hadn't thought of that. Richard probably would have identified with the Weasley twins (and they're my favorite characters, go figure!)
Yeah, Don Sahlin was known for practical jokes. Hehe, that makes me laugh, cause I've never known anyone who had the guts to play genuine practical...
That's cool that you learned to read so early!
It's definitely true that Sesame Street helped me out with learning early on. I remember one Ernie and Bert sketch, where Ernie ate one of Bert's five cookies. Ernie tries to fix the problem by moving the cookies around:
Ernie: Maybe if we move...
Yup, there's a photo in a book about George Harrison, of him with a Kermit doll on his head, lol. There was also an interview with him and his then girlfriend (later wife) Olivia Arias from 1976. They were talking about the benefits of meditation (they were very into that):
"Caryl Starling of...
Yeah the lack of morsels is disapointing. And I don't have much interest in seeing any modern day bonus features. Plus, I have always disliked that photo of Piggy that is on one of the DVDs.
Though it's great that you can skip to different parts of the episodes now! I just hope next time the...
I've been to a couple Hallmark and American Greetings type stores recently and some of them are suddenly full of Sesame Street toys (which I guess are from the 35th anniversary). I just bought Grover (I've never had a Grover, he's so adorable!). I don't remember having so many SS stuffed toys...
Well CGI on Television is tricky, if it's not not done well it can look cheap and fake. But I don't mind the idea so much, if it happens. The only thing that ever really bothers me is the lack of classic material.
