Yup, Ringo's real name is Richard Starkey. :)
I don't remember that dream but that's really funny, Fragglemuppet! It is very strange what your mind does.
Yeah Richard's Harry seemed less interested in the pyrotechnics themselves, and just loved chaos in general.
Oh, I think I have heard of the Lady of the Dunes (comes from watching A LOT of Unsolved Mysteries). Very interesting...
I had a very bizzare Richard dream last night...
Spoilers are becoming increasingly more common, especially with the Internet. I feel like my need for spoilers slightly ruined my enjoyment of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, hehe. So when Return of the King was coming, I hid myself away from all spoilers for months! No clips, no articles, no...
...LOL That's a great question.
"Kiss em and squeeze 'em! Love 'em and leave 'em!" (Anyone feel like adding a "Nyah!" in there?)
Honestly, I just thought the puppet looked so funny and cute with his tongue sticking out, lol. And the way he "looked over" Nigel. :halo:
I also liked Richard...
Good question! Hmm, well I'll definitely look out for anything that comes up on the web up to the day. And maybe Amanda will let us know what her project was about.
And let's see, I plan to drink Orange Juice that day instead of Soda (I drink way too much Soda, so I'll go for the healthy...
Thanks for letting us know!
Wow, this is interesting. I mean I don't take these kind of shows too seriously, but they're fun to watch.
Funny how those two could hear all these voices but we couldn't! I was waiting for them to hear "Mahna Mahna!"
Hmm, wonder who the supposed woman could be...
I remember that episode! Yeah it was cool to see her a lot older but wearing his original costume.
It does sound like that SS episode was genuinely scary. It's just that I remember a ton of kids shows that used to scare me as a kid. Like that Unico anime with the living puppets. That was...
I read about the Wicked Witch episode on Muppet Wiki. That's so interesting, I wish I could see it!
Personally, I can't understand parents writing to a TV show complaining about scary content. I mean, I was scared by a lot of things on Sesame Street, but my parents never wrote in to complain...
I can identify. I recently purchased The Christmas Toy on VHS from a third party seller at Amazon.com. The special might be released on DVD someday, but there's a good chance Kermit won't be in it. So I wanted to have at least one copy with the original beginning and ending. :)
Oh I adore Fat Albert! They weren't afraid of addressing anything. And being brutally honest about it. As Bill once said, "It's a shame some people have to be struck by lighting to get out of the dark." :)
Yeah I do think it's true that kids (and some adults heh) can confuse TV and real life...
I don't know if it will be a hit. The Simpsons kinda jumped the shark awhile ago (through no fault of their own, it just happens). The movie should have been done years ago. But we'll see, it might surprise us. :)
I'm sure it's a lot of people's fault, including both political parties. And our Capitalist system. But you know, our country always goes through hard times, then things eventually get better. This is one of those hard times. Though I do wish we'd break out of the two party system. The...
Yeah, it is extremely difficult right now for recent college grads to find work. And the work they do get is often temp jobs. Remember that everyone is struggling (though I know that doesn't make it better).
I know what you mean about being told to "keep at it"; everyone says that over and...
I agree it makes sense, if you show a character struggling with addiction, rather than enjoying it, it might send a good message and warning to kids.
I think there's some fear of doing that though. I've heard some stories of kids seeing stories like that on TV and not quite getting the full...
