I've just tried the ladder stitch. I must say it is amazing. I am going to use this stitch from now on. It's fast, and you can see the result right away, since you're sewing from the outside.

I don't think you guys understand me.As i said earlier. I do not want to know how to assemble the eyemech, i know that already. What i am asking for is if anyone has a pattern for the eyelids made of fleece, what shape do i make them from?

Yes so do i, but i asked for blinking eyes ;) It's not the mech i am after, and not the furr strip either, rather the fleece lid that goes behind the furr, over the eyes.

really good tutorial on the mech. I've managed to follow it. But when it comes to doing a piece of eyebrows with furr i'm stuck. How do i pattern it? it doesn't look good with just a sqaure strip. Can anyone help please?

Here's a link to a picture of miss piggy in the making. You can clearly see that she's pieced together by foam sheets. I think the head is carved block foam though (but if it is the head he's holding in he's hands, then it is sheets of foam)
