Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
It's an action show that has a respectable following. I see nothing wrong with a popular series having a comic book adaption. Most popular cartoon shows had some comic book follow up at some point.
Didn't do too well. CN kinda screwed that one since the toy line was once again over priced...
I really hope this doesn't affect Boom's Adventure Time and Regular Show lines...
but They plan to print new comics based on older properties.
Disney can learn a thing or two from this. While Warner Bros owns all those cartoons and DC comics, DC is not the one publishing them. Meanwhile...
The only thing I really disliked was how incredibly lame Melissa MacCarthy and Paul Rudd's animation award set up. That was terrible. I like a good sidetracked by mundane conversation joke as much as anyone else, but it was so poorly set up that it just came across like they actually forgot...
Being the Oscar Host is like being president. I have NO idea why any sane, rational minded person would work to get such an honor since all it leads to is hate, overly critical criticism, and unfair comparisons. Seth was just above average for me (considering the hand he had in the musical...
The only extras I'm seeing are physical. They seem pretty good to those who haven't got the series yet. Though I have the sneaky suspicion that if I buy this whole 100 dollar gift set, ONE of the disks will be screwed up somehow. And it will, of course, screw up on the last episode I watch...
The last few weren't?
If there's one thing Seth did right, it was to bring music back into the show. I hated that last year was Oscars express, and only 2 songs were nominated,... and quite clumsily I might add. There were two songs, and there wasn't time to perform one of them?! All but 2...
Not really.
DVD's go out of print due to rights. Lionsgate lost the rights to Henson productions, they lost the ability to release DVD's, the DVD's are no longer being made. Remember, the first box set came out all the way back in 2005. That's 8 years ago. I doubt they're really trying to...
Considering I have only season 1, and the crummy Lionsgate re-release that didn't have the note pad... Or even a track listing(!) I could see considering this.
But then again, I'm looking at a wide variety of complete box set collections (including Bullwinkle, even though I got the first 2...
On closer inspection, the Gonzo one is a plumbing truck. Not the one from The Muppet Movie, of course. But it looks to be related to his plumbing business in The Muppets. I actually quite like that one now that I think about it.
Problem is, we would have had all these sequels if Pixar and Disney split, and they'd all be completely terrible. I needn't remind anyone of the tragedy that was almost Toy Story 3. As Disney owned the characters, they could do whatever the heck they wanted with them, and Pixar couldn't do...
Here's a short one...
Keep in mind, I'm a collector of Kid's meal premiums. And avid one, as long as the license is solid (I don't just collect anything). So it won't come off strange. Just saying...
When did Burger King Kid's Meals slogan become "Screw the collectible prize! YOU CAN...
I read somewhere that a LOT of money is wasted on the Ad Council (the American PSA company). And you know what? they're RIGHT! They make these big elaborate confusing commercials that do that lame misleading crap that make you watch the whole stupid thing to find out what the point is.
Here...
Disney was able to get Nintendo, Capcom, Sega, Namco Bandai, and even Sony (they own Q*bert) to work together on Wreck it Ralph. Though, with caveats... Q*Bert's part was originally written for Dig Dug, Namco Bandai didn't want to see that character portrayed as broken and homeless. Capcom...
That article does make sense and all, but then of course there are those who prefer to use film cameras, mostly artistic photographers. There are a lot of old Sesame Street skits that thrive on technology that was top of the line and common those days that just would come off completely awkward...
To be honest, those didn't look professional enough to be licensed purchasable merchandise. A plain white frizbee? That's something you give out at festivals to grow awareness of your product. Usually health care providers. That kiddy habit trail looks like it has cheaply silk screened movie...
ETM is eating a lot of the next to nothing they have. That's an investment that will come back to them no doubt. But the real problem is, the celebrity and pop culture parody focus they absolutely think they need that's draining the budget. They painted them the heck into a corner with the...
It depends on the situation. Sometimes being harsh is good, sometimes it's a MAJOR setback that could damage a relationship and or push someone even closer into despair.
We have this culture where no one likes to help someone in a bad situation unless it alleviates them from guilt and makes...
