Of course, I'd like to see the unemployed person facing the reality of having his entire family out on the street wondering where their next meal is going to come from that feels like a complete failure who doesn't take a swing at someone that says "At least you're not starving in Africa."...
That's something that has become too Flanderized and even the fans say enough is enough. Most fans actually like the Kermit and Piggy relationship to be sweet over something that they did up until season 5 of The Muppet Show. In the movies (with 2 very big obvious exceptions), their...
I'd say it's some sort of Elmo alternate puppet that has something attachable to its head. Something they want to get mileage out of, like the homunculus Zoe. I noticed a huge change in the puppet design in the "Innovation" word of the day spot when they switched from Elmo to Elmo-bot.
As...
To answer your question...
A franchise can not and never has been able to be perfectly frozen at the height of their popularity and perfection. It doesn't matter if it's the same guy owning the franchise (Star Wars under George Lucas) or that the creative force behind that franchise...
Hate to double post, but I really want to deal with the Muppet Babies.
Minor Muppets is correct. Someone associated with the show did say that the rights are all cleared up. That's not the problem. There is a two fold bugaboo to all of this.
First of all, Disney's doing the right thing by...
Looks like they combined both stories. There is a 2 headed giant in the movie preview as well, and that's exclusive to the Giant Killer story. Again, the connection between the two is unclear.
To be fair, they did shoot a lot of new poser photos that are just starting to appear on merchandising... but it's time to throw all the 1990's stock art out.
Look at these Valentines:
I really should make a Muppet wiki account. I could do so much better with a photo of those. It's too...
You do realize that, unlike Disney, Henson has been trying to get so many projects off the ground that they've become a joke even to their fans. Disney was able to get one movie out there, and another in production. Henson tried a Dark Crystal movie, a Fraggle Rock movie, Happytown Murders, and...
I have to re-read the articles more clearly, but it says that they aren't quite related yet are... I dunno. I think the Beanstalk one is the child friendly derivative.
And you just know a bunch of people are going to think the movie is Jack and the Beanstalk and complain about it for the wrong...
I'm wondering if that Oogie Boogie crap failing was a reason for this going directly to DVD.
That or Henson once again couldn't find a competent business partner.
I dunno. "People have it worse than you," is a lame way to put things in perspective. There's a difference between being thankful with what you have and being in a bad state in the first place.
The message sounds to me like, "Some guy cut your leg off with a rusty hacksaw? Some people...
My sentiments exactly. There's some stuff out there, there just needs to be more in specifics. We all would like to see DVD release of the TV shows and specials (though, as Disney hates to even release its own specials period, that's going to be a mean task), but nothing's coming out of that...
Being lonely no matter what is bad off. I understand why people hate Valentines day, as it basically just exacerbates feelings of loneliness. I get what the message is supposed to be "don't complain because people have it worse," but it comes off as "you have a right hand, loser. Complaining...
They probably haven't been counted until then. The counter is slow, and some have complained that their video views don't have nearly as much as they should.
I'm sorry but...
You know those Starbucks puppet things are like 3" right? You try sewing something that small and making it look good. Detail is lost on anything that small, and that's because at that scale, fabric doesn't bend and fold the right way. And that's where plush toys get...
I'm on the fence about that. There is some pretty good stuff out there, but it's hard to find or seasonal. I really think things need to step up just a bit, but it could be far worse.
Problem is, we're never going to see a Palisades like toyline again, and the way the toy industry is going...
