They are similar to questions i was going to ask actually. I’m sorry if what i said came across the wrong way. There had never really been a case before that the fans have known about where Frank’s characters were looped in his absence by someone other than him, rather than having an understudy...
There's something else i noticed hidden away in the magazine in a small section that talks about staff moving companies, it kinda links back to something from the 'Henson Slashes European Arm' article.
Text Reads :-
Matthew Web, formerly with Henson, has formed a new company with...
Yeah i would consider them Muppets in the Muppet Universe. Obviously they are not from a 'Muppet' show but the characters are of the same type of build and personality as others that have appeared in TMS and other shows over the years. I would consider them Muppets like i would consider the...
It's original text straight from the magazine. I only made an exception last time because i didn't think the original was available. It doesn't list an author for the article at all, and if anybody is interested i can scan the photo and put a link to it (no uploads here) but it looks like a...
This is a small article from the Autumn issue of License Europe magazine (a trade magazine for the brand licensing industry) that came out today. It's accompanied by a large picture of the Muppet Babies. It's a cartoon one with all the characters dancing around Rowlf's piano.

Well i'm not the one puppeteering on Sesame Street am i ? Maybe you can explain - why did Kevin loop the voice instead of Frank on this occasion ? I'm interested to know if it was another one of these occasions where Frank was "busy" or if Kevin has taken over his character in the same way...
Yeah, i would agree there is some truth that statement FB from what i've seen of it. It kinda has that same edgy/family type mix. I think it's way over-hyped and over-merchandised for what it is but then thats what the biz is all about nowadays.
No, he just looped the Sam voice. Why Kevin looped instead of Frank i would have absolutely no idea. Some people would jump on the 'Frank Is Busy' bandwagon but they can loop voices remotely via ISDN line so in reality either he cost too much, Kevin has officially taken over Sam's muppeteering...
My answer to this thread is 'neither' - Kevin Clash performs the most annoying and basic Muppets in the history of the universe. I always thought it was because his range was awful and he was very limited but people in the know seem to think that he does have a good range and is just being...
Hey Sarah,
Not much in the way of advice but my trusty Magic 8-Ball said "It is decidely so" so take that for what you will.
You knew you could rely on me for that one right ? Seriously, i think it really depends on whether this will give you an advantage in the future and...
Yeah i thought Janice might be the exception to the rest, being the band member and a secondary character that people have usually found quite cool and groovy. I can understand people not wanting unthemed girl pigs and regular female action figures in general (non-girly) type lines.
In the...
I agree, this is gonna be the best series yet. I wouldn't take much notice of EB's ship dates but i'm sure they'll be out soon !
The thing that stands out for me with S5 is that although you've got a good mix of established character, new character, secondary and fan fave they are ALL hugely...
It really depends on where you live and where you are going to buy the figures - some smaller stores just order one case while another might order five. Say if they got four cases of series one, and were left with a lot behind then they might have just got two cases of series two and that might...
Count,
What you are asking is a hard question and everybody will have different views so there is no definitive answer. Some people classify Muppet's in a technical way and see it as any puppet (or certain types of puppet) built by the Henson Company and some see it depending on the type or...
Thank Yew !!! LOL - Back to the subject at hand. The poll results so far aren't too bad at all for like the main Muppet site. Could be a bit better, but obviously it's a wave where they have targeted different figures at different types of people. I think it'll do respectably well, although...
**** - this is a forum for hardcore Muppet fans, if i can't have a ten page discussion about the color of Janice's underpants then i'm through with this place and joining a Rugrats site.
Bill Baretta does Rowlf, Dr Teeth is unassigned but his most recent performer has been John Kennedy. They all do a great job, as does Eric Jacobson especially i have to say. The Muppet performers are a pretty informal gang, obviously at the end of the day it comes down to the management as to...
