Lol, yes I love that part! Richard does seem to love getting on Dave's case in a good natured way. It does sound like he's trying to help Dave say his "Rev" lines with the proper "timing" as Kathy puts it, hehe. And in the "Scared Silly" segment Kathy also seems to love Steve and Dave being...
Personally, if Disney does release new projects, that's alright. But for me, I'm mainly hoping they release more of the older material. It deserves to be seen again and definitely would have an audience (despite contrary opinions heh). It could happen eventually, I've learned not to be entirely...
That's really cool, MN, it's great when you find someone you can talk to about these things! What did she say about the quilt?
Btw, I finally heard what was going on in that Lew Zealand sketch in the Of Muppets and Men scene. Hehe, all he said was "Maestro...please!" So it wasn't exactly a...
Yeah I've seen some of those. Of course I don't know that person's situation. But it sounded like it was more the parent who was upset about how dated it look. The child may have been disinterested for other reasons (One-year-old is a little young).
Plus, I've also seen a ton of Amazon...
Pretty much the majority of shows I love ARE older ones, lol. I can't possibly name them all so, just to name a couple:
Star Trek
Monty Python
Welcome Back, Kotter
Rocky and Bullwinkle
Anything Muppets (duh hehe)
Thundercats
Normally I would hesitate to include anything from the '90s. It's...
Oh yeah I've heard of Fall Break, never had one of those though, lol. Yeah it's never fun when you're given homework during a vacation.
Sounds like a very interesting seminar, did it inspire you to pursue investigative journalism more? That was a good question to ask, good for you for asking...
I think you're definitely correct about "Imagine That" (beautiful song btw); I think he's also doing the puppeteering and non singing voice of the sailor who keeps getting rocked back and forth (obviously Chris did the singing). Lol so funny! Not positive about "Count up to Nine" but you could...
That's great that you finally got to purchase Fraggle Season 3, glad you enjoyed the "Sacred Silly" segment, lol. Have you watched any of the episode descriptions yet?
How was the seminar, what kinds of things did they talk about?
I am going to think twice about buying from Mattell for awhile. And it doesn't surprise me that the Cookie toy isn't as fun as the Elmo doll. Heh, for once we Americans get the sort end of the stick.
Actually that clip with the two Domingos perfectly personifies classic Sesame Street for me - clever humor and touching music. They cared enough to give children the very best, rather than underestimate them.
Today's show can't hold a candle and it is a shame. I wouldn't even mind except that...
I believe that was David Rudman playing "Steve", who I think is just a voice over for comic relief, hehe. I remember seeing that episode years ago, especially the alley at night with people yelling from windows like a real city (the show did that a few times).
Richard had a first class singing...
Popcorn, how civilized! :)
It's a clip from the old anniversary special Sesame Street: 20 Years and Counting. Opera singer Placido Domingo visits the set and gets to duet with his Sesame Street counterpart, Placido Flamingo. It really is a beautiful song (and collaboration). :)...
Look what I found!

What an amazing day for Richard that must have been; he gets to talk with Bill Cosby and then sing with his "name sake", opera singing Placido Domingo!
It's not on youtube anymore, but there was another clip once of an interview...
Yeah people do forget that the Muppets tended to be risque and adult back in the day. And they knew there was a difference between adult humor and immature humor. :)
