I wonder how much of this was based on availability. You look at the Cosby Show episode with the Muppets, and the only famous character is Gonzo because they were filming the Disney World thing.
Just NO more polarizing reality show appearances. Family viewed competition shows are an exception... just... I'm going to say this one more time and let it go... The Bachelor?!?! Good Frog, what were they thinking?!? ;)
Must've been a bit tired going back and forth from the movie shoot too.
This song translation kills me every time...
That's right. Instead of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they call them "The Fabulous Turtle Ninjas!"
And at the risk of insulting anyone from the Catalan region, here's another one that's just klunky and funny sounding..
I SWEAR he says...
Heh.
I just played the Big Bird game. It's hilarious. Especially that background music that can't decide if it's supposed to be Turkey in the Straw or not. Not to mention Big Bird's never changing expression, especially when an egg drops. How did he get Geordie LaForge's visor anyway?
My point still stands. I'm just sick of Sesame Street and Muppet Babies getting the blame for the Muppets being "kiddy." These videos were no help either.
But then again, you can tell this was from the period where he wanted to do more things like Dark Crystal and Labyrinth... big projects...
I personally never cared for Disney's sitcoms (except Even Stevens... that one was good!), and I only really hated it when every other network wanted to be them, and Hanna Montana's popularity was starting to hurt television animation (that was the reason CN forced garbage like Out of Jimmy's...
SGTFloyd's gonna be happy. Dan Vs. is nominated in 3 categories, including best voice actor.
Say what you will about the Daytime Emmy's... I love that voice actor is a category.
Ah yes. Muppets at Walt Disney World. It takes an obvious infomercial for the park and makes it so much fun and so engaging, it's impossible to notice.
That is, unlike every time Disney forced a sitcom to go there. I know Rosanne's staff didn't like it.
I refuse to watch any of this show, but I know it's an important step in keeping the characters out there. It's funny that some would act as if the Muppets were bought by another company, they wouldn't shove them into their crummy shows. And I'll take a sub-Saved By The Bell show appearance...
Another great, completely unappreciated Fox Kids classic. The second season looked like CD-I animation, and the show was considerably less funny... but those great older episodes were the most off the wall writing in cartoons at that point.
I know there's some revival Attack of the Killer...
Seriously... you think Rocky and Bullwinkle is bad, Dudley Do-Right was much worse. It's as half the cast never heard of the show, and the other half tried to make up for the first half. Snidley was well cast, though.
Incidentally, you know why Dudley Do-Right even got made? Someone said...
My experience is this. Nothing is a win situation. You confront them, that's what they want... you ignore them, they do it more and more and louder and louder until it's IMPOSSIBLE to ignore it...you try and get them in trouble, and they just roll their eyes and say "I didn't do anything" and...
Grievous was better used in both Clone Wars series (Genndy's and the CGI one) than in the movie. He really seemed to come from nowhere, and his decrepitness wasn't fully explained. I like the other villains okay, but Maul should have been the big bad of at least the first film the entire way...
I really did enjoy the Bullwinkle movie. I liked George of the Jungle a little more, but the Bullwinkle movie really really tried to be as faithful to the show as possible. And as I always said, that freaking studio mandated girl character threw the balance off. You see all these cartoon...
I'm sorry... but... really!?! If you're with a man who doesn't want to get married, they clearly don't want to be attached. That's a big red flag. Now, had they been legally actually married, the divorce would have left her with X amount of the money. The woman in the relationship was...
