Minor rant, but...
They have a freaking Annoying Orange comic book now. The worst part? It's by one of my favorite cartoonists. Mike Kazaleah! The guy behind the BEST issues of Ren and Stimpy, the indie comic Captain Jack, and even worked on Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures... he did the...
I almost wish that it came out next week, if only because the FCBD promo issue was just the first story. But it has an exclusive Elmo and Zoe pin up. I got a second one just to rip the poster out of.
MWOZ was in production well before the buyout. If anything, Disney's buy out rushed it or something to get it out to show what they planned to do with the characters.
Men in Black 4 confirmed.
I really hope it's more along the lines of the third one than the second one. Whatever it is, it's still not going to be half as good as the animated series. I really hope they release more of that on DVD.
It's really not my place to judge younger audience based family sitcoms. I've never really been a fan of them, except maybe ALF... for the obvious reason. Stuff like Leave it to Beaver and Brady Bunch make me sick when I watch them. I've grown to respect Full House for what the show was...
Further more, Scooby-Doo doesn't so much as spin-off as it does rebrand and reboot itself. The fact that it keeps reinventing itself back and forth is how Scooby-Doo managed to be on television every decade since its first cartoon series in the late 60's.
Disney's ownership of the Muppets was a very rocky start. In fact, these Disney tween-coms are going to get a lot of hate, because that's what Disney was all about from 2005-2008 or so. There was such an intense focus on that, everything else got thrown to the side for a few years, Muppets...
I agree. It is much more advanced than most games released around that era. I had the questionable pleasure of playing the A*Team game, and the best it had for music was a completely flat, unmelodious version of the theme song.
It took me a little while to realize that the music actually...
The Gold Key and Marvel ones did. Comics are becoming more and more like lost episodes of a series now. They used to be merchandise that sometimes got it right, sometimes got it wrong. But now, they're treated like media, as they should be. Of all the media licensed comics I read (and...
I got to admit, that clip was actually kinda funny.
Oh, you mean Unnamed 4th Grade Male Dog?
I swear Slink was a Tough Customer in like, one episode.
Confound these Stuffed Custards! They drive me to DRINK!!!!!
That's great if you click on the wrong link or want to watch something privately.
Of course, that's if you can even watch the video the whole way through period.
If that piece of crap wins, there's no justice in the world. Just another lame Saturday Morning at 5 Am FCC lipservice show that no one watches or cares about so they can keep their licenses to broadcast infomercials the rest of the morning... and sometimes day.
That thing needs a Daytime...
Miss Tiggy's basically Miss Piggy if she were a tiger. Just replace the pig nose for a big black one the same shape. Looks exactly the same in every other aspect... but orange with stripes.
Demonizing CGI just goes so far before it becomes incoherent whining. There are bad cases of CGI... mainly Brazilian Pixar ripoff studios... It's not quite as cheap as everyone thinks it is. That is, if done right. Sometimes it is more cost effective on a movie in lieu of something that would...
Oh, and for those of you curious to see the "how to Read a Comic" intro, it's on Ape's own page
It's cute and all, but the artist needs to work on his Murray. Other than one of the 5 covers, that's Murray's only appearance. I think Big Bird's too.
There aren't any rare characters like Mumford or anyone like that so far. There really weren't any other fan favorites in the background. I think Irvine was seen in one of Oscar's imagine spots among Oscar's other relatives (which seem to have been referenced from How to Be a Grouch)...
No... Bodoque was the equivillant of Oscar. Pancho has some of Oscar's non-grouchy characteristics (liking raw onions as food is similar to something Oscar would do, also he has a pet elephant seen only from the trunk), but over all is closer to Herry than Oscar.
Sesame Street issue 1 was released yesterday. Hope some of you managed to track it down.
First off, it's nice to know the high quality of which we came to expect from Boom's The Muppet Show and Muppet Classics line and Archaia's Fraggle Rock line are gleefully present here. Not to mention the...
