Superman Returns was doomed to fail because they put too many expectations on it. I can't believe that after The Dark Knight completely and utterly out-grossed Batman Begins, they failed to try a second Superman film before the reboot. They just said "it could have been better" and swept it...
I actually liked Cars 2 more than the first. Not so much for the story, but for the visuals. Cars had a nice heartfelt story, but it took place in a muddy, grouchy looking dustbowl. While the characters were bright and colorful, the background was so uninteresting and dull. The one advantage...
3-D was kinda introduced because too many people were waiting for the films to hit DVD and legal phone downloads... because, you know... it's every director's intent to have their creation viewed on something smaller than a postcard.
It worked initially, Avatar made a crapload of...
Holy freaking cow!
BEAKMAN WAS ON SESAME STREET!!!!
well.. not Beakman the character, Beakman the actor... but now BOTH Beakman and Bill Nye the Science Guy have been on Sesame Street! Awesome.
And the best part, Murray had amazing chemistry with him. "Hi! I'm a Compact Disk! No body...
The only real faith I have is that Lucas is no longer in the picture. Something tells me they'd be, at worst, popcorn flicks.
Though, a movie about Han meeting Chewie is something I'm dreaming of.
Disney wants one Star Wars movie a year alternating between sequel and spinoff films.
They look pretty heckbent on making back every penny they spent acquiring it.
I honestly don't buy it. 3-D, unless in animation, is blurry and distracting. Even in Animation, it makes it hard to focus on a single point in the background. The thing makes me blink and it screws up my eyes. I can take the gimmick for a 90 minute movie, but for the various super hero...
When it comes to Moulin Rouge, I have to agree with Miss Piggy...
"Would Everyone stop singing different songs? I can't remember what I was singing!"
Still, zero wish to see this film.
80's Nick. Yeah, it had some good shows, but the 1990's Nicktoons put the network on the map. The Canadian sitcoms/edutainment shows were fun, but hardly the same fare as the far more memorable Doug and Ren and Stimpy. And really... their dubbed preschooly anime sucked. We didn't even get...
I'm not a fan of how Nickelodeon is handling the DVD release of the new series.

WOW! Single Disk releases again. It's like multiple disk sets never existed and it's 2002. Shout's been doing a great job (lacking...
I wonder if they really are. Remember, last film, they had to do reshoots of certain scenes pretty close to the release date. At least, months after they initially finished shooting. But it was just interiors and one other sequence that needed to be reshot at a couple angles.
I hate admitting it because I usually decry that sort of thing. Still, hearing that she was the same voice actress killed my childhood.
I still don't get the clock stretching bit. That's the dictionary definition of filler.
There's a lot of talent behind that show, and it was conceived by...
Purists are very annoying. If it's not done by one of the original creators, it's apparently a horrid cynical cash grab that distorts the original quality of the characters... no matter how close they try to get them. I really don't feel this way. As long as it isn't those terrible shorts...
