No these are the first plushes (outside of the theme parks) exclusive to Disney. They have been produced by Disney or by someone for them and have Disney Store, Hammersmith, London on the tag as well as TM : Henson. When you come to London you'll see the Disney Stores here have been...
Keep in mind that as well as money from the Creature Shop, and their 'Family' shows (Hoobs, Fraggle etc) distributed by HIT! they also have money from distributing the fantasy films and Farscape as well as a 3 year deal to produce Muppet and Bear programming for Disney and a further year deal to...
I think the Walmart release was to test the market. I'm guessing this is first in a line of Fraggle releases each containing 3 live eps (released in order) and a few special features (probably more animated eps). I very much doubt we will ever see season sets from HIT!
On behalf of all the Pingu fans i am both shocked and stunned ! LOL!
I dunno - i am a little underwhelmed at that. It probably needed the behind the scenes documentary to make everyone who got the first disc buy the special edition. The history of the songs is good but if they are just...
I would say the Swedish Chef, Beaker, Kermit aren't bad. Animal and Bunsen are kinda a bit off. The rest are way off.
The gems of the new stuff are the large Animal plush with poseable (wire) hands and legs as well as the Animal head pillow/cushion or whatever it is which is beautiful and a...
Yeah it sounds like just a cameo i agree, just not sure they would get another high profile human in for another main role, might start to overshadow the real stars. I hope if it isn't him they use a Muppet!
It was only an initial press release, they wouldn't go into detail with an entire cast list. I'm sure all the usual gang will be there - it is a Muppet movie afterall. I think it's probable that Tarrentino will be playing the Wizard in the Oz parts and they just didn't mention it but they...
I just assumed from the name really but it does look like they have the odd branch or two in areas further away. I see a Trafalgar Square one listed and also one in Croydon and Bromley so London/Kent people should be ok with a fair bit of travel involved.
Great news, shame it's only at a regional bank though. Big Badge Company made the Barclays ones two (or three?) years ago and the Asda Hoobs ones so i'm sure these are very nice!
Yeah i guess the only way to move a re-released Scooter to more than the newcomers would be to do him in a better scale if they didn't have to do much to the rest of the figures. I'm sure they would be thinking about sales and budget in this as well as the fans, sounds like they might use...
There seem to be a lot of people without the Tux Rowlf, not sure about the demand now there will be a naked one though. I agree that releasing him with an upright would be a genius sales move though, everyone would buy it regardless. I would support a new Scooter but then we are talking lots...
I don't think they were talking alterations that drastic, but yeah it would be good to see Zoot with a new signature style paint scheme, A tweaked head Scooter, and a Tux Rowlf with the Nekkid Rowlf head.
I wouldn't pay that. Ken has just renewed talk of re-releasing Zoot and the rest of Series 3 "with some variation". It's not been completely confirmed yet but for him to publicly say that it looks pretty likely for next year.
I didn't hate the choice of her as God and indeed it was irreverant and reverant, just her bits (in my opinion) were badly written, went on too long and were a bit dragged out. Those bits were boring to me, i fast forward them. Her role could have been a lot funnier and it was a shame she...
The talk of Bobo is actually for a Rentro Bobo from MFS it seems. That is the version Ken said he would want to do if he was doing a Bobo figure. As for Bean, he doesn't seem that hot on him at all. I think there are others at Palisades and on the boards who have been trying to persuade him...
No chance! It's pretty obvious they intend to keep Mickey and the Muppets as far apart as possible. You have to remember the Muppets are being run as a completely different and seperate franchise that just happens to be owned by a subsidary of the Disney Company rather than them being part of...
