I agree. The outer packaging was great but yes, the inner packaging could have been a lot better. I actually had a few loose discs on opening it.
The reason for the cuts is that the original versions of the show contained music and references that would cost a lot for the small kind of TV...
I agree with Wiggy. There is little chance of getting 2,000 but seeing as you paid for the auction to run already you might as well let it continue just in case. Splitting it is the way to go - I would probably do all the exclusives individually, series 3 split individually, variants...
Hey Peyton
Course I remember you!!!! Great to hear from you and know that you are doing well. Things aren't too bad here, life is busy. I remember all the good times back on MC with 'CamillaCluck". It's still all fun & penguins here at Muppet Central so make sure you pop in whenever you...
I asked Ken about whether it was a Muppet related product or not and he said that only Travis knows for sure what he's talking about - or something like that. I kinda got the hint that maybe whatever was said wasn't quite in the context it had been printed.
Yeah that's a great site. If you check out the promo trailer they did something with cgi to make the cats in the "Feline Focus Group" talk and explain how they did it.
Yeah apparently the insides need rebulilding completely. Although he didn't say how long ago it was when he saw them, would anything have been to done to preserve them more now (like new technology in storage etc) since then or would they still be subject to this decomoposition ?
I'm sure the cast would be willing but i doubt Henson would want to rebuild the Fraggles unless there was a TV show for them, and HIT! sure as heck isn't going to pay for all that in addition to all the studio production fees just for an extra on a $15 DVD. The cast (or any number of them)...
There is no specific date yet other than September. You can only get it via the Palisades Direct Store or possibly by attending a Henson Legacy event later this year. Collectors Club members may get a discount on the Henson figure, possibly free shipping.
Yeah i love the actual mini-movie style menus and things, most innovative use of them i've seen yet. I'm loving all this new ALF matierial as you can probably imagine and these were very well done. The packaging is cool too - lovely screenprinted discs and the nice raised ALF portrait on the...
They are not the ones in the Disney parks and they are not available there to my knowledge. It does seem that the plushes, cushion etc are exclusive to the UK, i think the rucksacks are from a different range. They also had more t-shirts there today and two different kinds of Animal Boxer...
I bet they will continue releasing the discs like this until they stop selling enough to be profitable and fans will be without a completed FR DVD collection until something else happens in the future. Look at what you said above - it's the most profitable way for HIT! to release these, not...
They get a small cut in the profits forever i think, but that is seperate to their current production and advisory deals with Disney which are obviously for a lot more cash up front and over the next four years. In any case even 5% of a household name property like Muppets is still very...
That calendar (in the link) looks very much like last years UK one that was also available in the USA just with 2005 instead of 2004. Although that calendar was great i would have kinda hoped for something new this year.
