Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
It'll probably show up sooner or later at this rate. I am still kind of in shock here- I just recently came across The Geefle and the Gonk sketch!!!!! I remember seeing this as a child and haven't seen in like 20 years or so! Both these creatures are trying to get a nectarine and they have to...
What kind of a question is that? How can I choose between beloved characters? I'm absolutely no good at these things. This may be something of a cop out, but I'm gonna say one of my favorite characters is actually Kermit the Frog! :) I know he's obviously famous for The Muppet Show...
Oh, there's too many to think of here... All Kermit's News Flashes are great- I agree the Hickory, Dickory Dock one is awesome! I remember seeing it as a kid but I haven't seen it in forever! I also like the Cinderella one, the Holiday mix-up one, Peter Piper's Pickled Peppers... there's lots...
Okay- I was thinking it was Rowlf, but wasn't totally positive. Thanks for setting it straight!
(Of course, if I could see the entire pitch tape that would certainly refresh my memory...perhaps on a certain future classic Sesame Street DVD release...;)
Woo hoo! Some seriously classic stuff's been added- including some I haven't seen since the 1980s- like Willy Wimple Went a Boating, Cab Calloway singing "Hi Dee Ho Man", and a "C" skit with Cookie Monster, Scudge, Fred the Dragon's son, Beautiful Day Monster and GREEN Grover!!! :-)
Assuming Chip and Dip are the two cats I'm thinking of, I'd say that they weren't necessarily my favorite characters on Sesame Street- but they were just a part of Sesame Street like everyone else. I pretty much just accept it like that and that's it. I can't think of too many memorable...
Oh yeah! Sam is one of my favorite characters! I think Sam's funniest moments for me have already been said, so I'll have to reiterate a few others- "You are all weirdos!" in "The Great Muppet Caper"- classic!
And I love one of his lines in "Muppet Family Christmas"- "Why am I here?"
:)...
Dude- that was AWESOME!!!! :excited: :flirt: :) Great job!!!
Fraggle Rock has such excellent music to begin with- making a cool techno remix of it only makes it that much cooler!!!
Another review!
Okay, here's my review of
Three Bears and a New Baby- 2003 Sesame Street video with a runtime of approximately 52 minutes
Plot breakdown-
Baby Bear gets upset when he finds out about all the changes that will come with a new baby in his family. It starts out at the...
It's "Kermit and Cleopigtra" by Gregory Williams, illustrated by Sue Venning, copyright 1981!!!
(I happen to own that book) :)
And it's a pretty cool one too.
Um, there's a couple of clearly defined familial relationships in the Muppet world and those that I know of are-
Kermit and his nephew Robin
Miss Piggy and her nephews Andy and Randy Pig
Emily Bear and her son Fozzie Bear
Granny Bird and her grandson Big Bird
Scooter and his sister...
Well, there is the circa 1989 X-Men pilot called "Pryde of the X-Men"
(Not too bad of a cartoon if you can get over Wolverine's Aussie accent)
Of course, that cartoon has been released on video and animation-wise, it fits in pretty nicely with the style of Spider-Man and his Amazing...
Hmm, they never had Oscar in any of those sketches where the Muppet interacts with young children, like they did with Grover and Kermit, did they? I just started thinking that it would be pretty hilarious to see that, considering Oscar's grouchy nature!:grouchy:
A new review!
Here's a review of "Elmocize"- a 1996 video with a 30 minute run time. Interesting to note- the back of the video lists the songs, but doesn't list them in the order they come in!
And guess what? The video lists Cyndi Lauper as the guest star!!!!:D (I'm only...
Here's another review for you!
This time I am covering the Sesame Street Home Video- "Kids' Favorite Songs". (Note- this is the first one. I believe there is a second volume as well.)
The video is copyrighted 1999 and has the Sesame Street 30 years anniversary logo on it. It has a run time...
Well, I don't know if these are all in reaction to Fozzie's jokes, but in watching "The Muppet Show" Season 1 on DVD, I've noticed that almost every single audience shot has Sam the American Eagle in the exact same pose, with a look of disgust on his face! Ha, ha- that's Sam! Gotta love...
Except that they are very few actual Street scenes that I've seen on there. Most of them are the memorable sketches and cartoons and songs that everyone loves- and a lot of those have been online on the Internet in general long before being gathered to Youtube.com
