Dude- that's an idea for a new Muppet movie right there!:D
That could be really cool- focusing on getting the Electric Mayhem together- perhaps told in flashbacks as the band is interviewed on MTV or something like that- that way we could still have the other core Muppets show up in present...
Here's some interesting Muppets trivia- this may be fairly obvious, but Sesame Street is one of the longest, if not the longest running television show ever? (I'm not sure if some of the news or soap operas might beat it out, so I hesitate to say the longest) But Sesame Street is running on...
True- by definition all trivia is useless.
But a lot of that useless trivia (redundancy) is the stuff of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" :)
(Here's the definition from dictionary.com - Note the related word!;) )
triv·i·a1 ( P ) Pronunciation Key (trv-)

I'd love to see the video clip itself- I very clearly remember the "Singing in the Shower" song from when I was a kid. I don't have the video, but I do have the next best thing. I have a MP3 of the song!:)
Hey, here's a new Sesame Street video up.

Buuuttttt, it's in Hebrew. Can anyone figure out what this Ernie and Bert sketch is about? It looks like it's from 1969 or so! :p :(
Cool!!! It looks like it might be an official MySpace page that Steve Whitmire set up- I guess you can never be totally sure with that, but it's pretty cool anyway.:)
I don't know if I remember hearing about Jim Henson's death much in 1990- maybe briefly on the news. I grew up watching Sesame Street, The Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock (cartoon and live action) and Muppet Babies. And I love watching them all now- and some other Muppet things I've discovered-...
Wow- it's been 16 years today since Jim Henson died. I still miss him. :concern: :sympathy:
But I think he has certainly left a lasting legacy of promoting peace and understanding and hilarity and silliness! :)
As far as the aardvark goes, it's the footage I remember seeing as a child, as far as I can tell- which could still be newer footage, of course.
But it's nice to have the songs in some format, in any case.
And thanks for the info, Grover. That's EXACTLY where I'd seen that!
:)
On the individual Fraggle Rock DVDs (the "live action" show, if you will) there have been a couple episodes of the Fraggle Rock cartoon released with each set...
I'm not sure if I remember the first sketch, but I definitely remember the second one with the nectarines! That was a very surreal sketch! Yes, I'd love to see that one again too!
By the way, where is that aardvark from? I KNOW it looks familiar, but I can't remember! I keep wanting to say "Rocky and Bullwinkle", but I think that's off.
Okay- I've been wondering about that. I uploaded the David and Maria clip and it does the same thing when I try to play it. Maybe I'll try uploading it again and see if I can get better results.
