I'm furious that these videos don't load anymore. Their player is worse than the clunkiest legal streaming site player there is. Who redesigned the player to suck so badly?
That's the series finale.
I guess they're trying to edge it out of the way due to the 4th movie coming out next year, and how said movies always push any other merchandise off of shelves (only to sit there forever after). But that's the retailers fault, not Hasbro's.
Still think the next...
The fact they cheaped out on the bonus features for everything but Johnny Bravo (which was awesome, making the other 2 sets a let down), and the fact that they chickened out on banned episodes (even Disney restored one of the banned episodes of Talespin, and even WB restored the banned PPG...
I really wish someone would license rescue live action Ghost Busters. I saw 2 episodes, including the one that came with the Filmation Ghostbusters animated volume 2 I got cheap. That show was absolutely hilarious. Unfortunate for the famous movie (they were both named after an obscure old...
Bratz are the worst things ever. Their cartoon was absolutely horrific, they're MADE of the lame promiscuous little girl fad that came out of the late 90's/early 00's. And as much as I still dislike what Hanna Montana did to animation, I'm glad that show broke that fad. Wasn't there...
I hate how the "Weekend Take" is like Friday up until the first half of Saturday. There's still the entire day of Sunday to get through. Many an upset has come out of Sunday, where the projected front running film gets trampled by the predicted second runner. It may not make the money the...
Yeah! What the heck is up with that? Too many newer DVD's I get don't have a track listing. The Ruby Spears Superman series, the Lionsgate rerelease of Fraggle Rock Season 1... I know they have to cut corners for costs sake, but cutting the freaking episode listing!?!
I'm sure the Schulz estate would flip if they did. On the one hand, I'm sure they're very involved with the traditional Peanuts "8 year olds that talk like they're in a Woody Allen movie" humor. if not, if this film is bad, they can always pull a Seuss estate and say "No" to any other movie...
If having to put on TV for some reason (diapers/feedings/trying to calm the kid back to sleep) has to be done, you're just as well off putting on an infomercial. Any child under 3 wouldn't get anything out of it anyway, and any child under 2 probably canb't see anything but flashing lights.
The 70's was a great era for live action kid's shows, sitcoms and movies... but when it came to cartoon shows, it's like they skipped over something. Fads and harsh children's TV regulations (again, thank those "The road to Hades is paved with good intentions" dinks at ACT) totally obliterated...
I mean, they are the pioneers of Rock N Roll, I guess... but to ignore the accomplishments of the Beatles and The Rolling Stones (among others) is just high snobbery. Apparently the cool thing is to say the Beatles are overrated, but that's just egotism, not fact.
So, you wanna know about Smurfs 2, huh?
You aren't going to believe me, but this second installment is leaps and bounds better than the last cacophonous kiddy film. For one thing, we have a solid and coherent plot! Where as the last film was all "Hey! Look at THESE guys, kids. Aren't they...
Dude... I remember going to some message board back in 2000, and there were all these people whining about Dexter's Lab not being some 1970's trash. Even recently, I saw someone post on a YT upload of a Maxie's World episode (which I only needed for YTP purposes) how cartoons are all terrible...
There's a TV Tropes page called "He Panned it, Now he Sucks." How come there's no "He Panned it now it sucks" page?
Anyway... I do share the disappointment of the programmers. They actually wanted to get Jaheel White in to do the voice of classic Sonic. Shame that they didn't get to.
Know what that sounds like? The Musical equivalent of an internet comment. So, I guess the song boils down to "WAAA! The music I like doesn't exist anymore and everything else is terrible cause it doesn't fit my personal taste."
That said, now all I can think about is this Farnsworth...
Unless I'm mistaken, I once heard that they do most business with certain South American countries. But I forget where I read it to confirm that information.
