The worst cover of all time... I forget where I read about this... is a Beatles "tribute" album (if you can call it that) where dogs bark the melody of the songs. Just like the Barking Jingle Bells novelty song.
First of all, Animal has been the break out character since the 80's, but it really got bad in the 90's. It's not a Disney thing, it's a Disney following the footsteps of Henson thing.
Secondly, overfocus of a character is not the character's fault. I agree there's too much Animal...
The fact that people complain about a video game character's redesign is freaking ridiculous... especially since that character changed his looks well over a decade ago.
How come I never hear anyone complaining about how Mario's Overalls and Shirt swapped colors since SMB 3?
First off, here's a new video...
It's the entire Big X, if anyone can stomach the entire thing (or get through it without laughing to death).
I'm NOT looking for another Hanna Barbera "The Thing is now a Teenager" show. Clutch Cargo is unintentionally hilarious, seeing what they did to The...
I think saying Lady Gaga is overrated, is in itself, overrated. She does have some solid talent, yet she's constantly lumped in one hit wonder pop stars, causing her to be an annoyance. I really wish the record label would let her do some unplugged, unpopped stuff. There was some wonderful...
That was all Disney's doing, and it was definitely not exclusive to just that DVD.
In the Muppet fandom, there are those who just don't like the new stuff, be it Muppet films made after Jim's death or Sesame Street since the 90's. That's standard stuff, right there.
Then there are the...
I remember back when the first Smurf movie came out, I was cussing and cursing its existence and thinking Belgium would be at war with us. Yes... reportedly the live action Asterix movies are crap. I've only seen the animated ones, so I don't know. The last live action Asterix won the...
From what I understand, the Syncro-Vox bit came from old short films where they made animals talk. I guess they figured, it's cheaper and easier than attempting lip synch. And said super imposed lips were easier to do than animating anything. So basically, it looks like a nightmarish version...
Clutch Cargo falls sharply into being So Bad it's Good. The fun little game is to pick out the actual frames of animation. It's like a drinking game that everyone remains perfectly sober. There's at least 2 seconds of animation per arc.
Hank Azaria is basically the only reason to even see these things. I hate how so many kid's movies feature actors there to cash a check and going through cruise control the entire film. Jason Lee sucked as Dave Seville, whoever played Jon Arbuckle sucked, and the guy who played Ranger Smith...
I'd rather have plastic stationary figures than having to listen to wrong sounding characters. The Word Girl thing was... okay... but they could have used the already recorded audio from the episodes, but they went the cheaper route and got a non-union voice actor to voice everyone that wasn't...
(Angrilly slams head on Desk).
Age difference, I guess, but have you seen the original Happy meal toys? Know what they are? Little, tiny 2-D plastic model kits that you had to snap together. And then there was the HUGE revelation where they made ACTUAL 3-D figures and toys. Yep. Quarter...
Unless they only want the master copies, I think the problem resides in the fact that they'd have to plow through hundreds of episodes (if they even have a direct clue which year it was from) to find it.
Anyway... how the heck did 7 Little Monsters get leaked? I don't see why Sesame Workshop...
On this subject... what the heck happened to Regular Show 3? And the better question, what's the deal with Sesame Street #2? They had a reprint of number one, and nothing for months. I'll assume that's a quarterly magazine.
Anything less is ALL you get this late in the year. And half its budget, plus over its budget world wide isn't terrible. Lest everyone forgets, it's summer, and a lot of film goers go during the middle of the week as well. Probably even opened at number 1, and it's still considered a...
This article is pretty much how I feel about these *&^% jerks that say something is a "bomb" for not pooping out gold bricks
How can The Wolverine be such a "disappointment" when it's made far more money than any other of the "Disappointments" this year, and actually has a respectable amount...
Really hoping that Barbara Gordon doesn't become BatGirl too soon.
Though an All CGI BatGirl cartoon would be a funny little way to reference the last episode of Brave and the Bold.
Starting to think that's the case as kids usually grow up a LOT in those years. Sure, there are 20-30 year olds that can play teens forever, and kids who are cursed with that thing that Gary Coleman/The Speedy Alkaselzter Guy/Walter Tetley had... but for the most part, the precocious kids go...
I'm more of the school of thought that clowns are depressing. They're entertainers who put on the lowest brow comedy imaginable so people can like them. And if the creepy clown meme has taught us, often times they fail at it. I tend to see them more like Krusty the Clown if he wasn't...
