The captain of the spaceship surprise was Guy Smiley, I remember they didn't make any effort to differentiate the characters. One of my favorite appearences of the puppet not being Guy was in a story told by Bob in which a king asked all his subjects to become fireman, in comes the pseudo-Guy, a...
I can see it now...
OZZY: (Standing in the middle of the street holding his arm extended, pumping his thumb up and down) SHAAAAROOOON! Help me figure out the remote beore I have a f---ing heart attack!
What was this reference Ernie?
I always liked ALF, but the ALF from the original sitcom, not this dull pseudo-ALF they're shopping around the advertisment circuit.
Peter Sellers......that episode had everything a Muppet fan could have asked for some laughs and wackiness, but then the tone goes down a little when Kermit stops to sing "Bein' Green" then back up again when everyone gets run off by a gorilla.
Well if this post isn't too old to clarify in, it WAS Jerry Nelson playing Statler in the Denny's commercial, he probably was having an off day, though. It definately wasn't him in the weezer video.
Nah, I just really like classic cartoons and film. Perhaps the gag was stolen from Bugs Bunny but the name titles were taken from a 3 stooges short, except for the last one, that was from me. :D
My belief is that the Elecric Mayhem never leave their set. They're rockers, man, they don't need a permanent spot, they just need to party and come back for performances and 3 hours of good sleep. However, Animal DOES tend to wind up in an iron cage sometimes.

In Muppet Treasure Island when Piggy thanks Kermit for saving him from falling to her doom, of course that's quickly ruined by the expression Kermit makes as he tries to hang on to Piggy's ample frame.
No, Kim, that was a UK SPOT, a segment of the Muppet Show that only aired in England.
My favorite moment was when the tables were turned on Marvin Suggs, and a witch doctor transformed the muppaphonist into a pink creature. All in te middle of playing the song "Witch Doctor."
What are you talking about Maynard? You need to practice being more clear.....anyone could walk in and claim to be the one who's in the right, and therefore king in your eyes,
which I'll do now......
Yeah, I know, I am a very kingly person........
Well there's the occasional nudge and a wink to the awdience, letting them in on the fact that this is only a movie. Even the last 3 muppet films and the sesame street films did that.
