He seems to be the typical felt puppet from Henson's early days only with a plastic face. I also heard a mumbling his body was supported by a coat hanger.
He's funny, but in a weird way like some people I've known over the years. Also, he's so upbeat, since yto him an act has gone over well right after he gets squished/exploded/booed....
Ok, we've made several posts about turning Muppets into character actors, now, what if you could turn a character actor into a Muppet? Who would it be and why?
I would like to make Martin Short into a Muppet. Ed Grimely muppet would be so cute, even though they did a similar skit in MT.
He's just so endearing, he's the underdog of the group that's low on the talent ladder, but still he tries, and lets all the negative vibes roll off his back. The world would be a better place had it more Fozzie Bears.
Get out the flame thrower anyway....We'll roast marshmallows and cannolis.....and hold hands, and sing Kumbaya......and......just you and me, bosom buddies, ol' pal ol' bean! We'll bond....
Most likely cause noone was watching it, I distinctly remember when I was 6, I fliipped channels past the Kermit PI cartoon and watched something else for te first hlaf hour. Then I went back to Muppet Babies. It was real early in the morning, so needless to say I was distracted. But I found...
Kids learn well using repetition techniques. That's just about any Kiddie show's reason to make only a handful of episodes and repeat them ad-nauseum.
Maybe Elmo's saying "Mist-ah Noodle" is funny, but not as funny as the reactions of the little babies he interviews.....
What if Clifford was fallowed around by a group of Muppets that depsrately wanted to be as hip as he is. Who would they be? As I'm writing this, i was thinking Pepe, Mo Frackle, Goggles and Bobo. I know they're all new guys, but what member of the older group could possibly use hip lessons? Eh? Eh?
I have several recordings of songs that the Muppets performed without the original artists. "I go to Rio" "Brick House" "Time in a Bottle" "She loves you"
*gasp* How could you think such a thing about Fozzie? He's as innocent as a newborn babe, rattle and all.....Nevermind the fact that Wayne and Wanda get pummled in every act they've ever put on. Fozzie jsut took tat in account as an oppertunity to ask Kermit if he could go on again...
Matleo, go to http://www.angrynakedpat.com. There's a plethora of his work. He may upload viginettes from "Big Helium Dog" and his student film "They Came from Uranus" there. Be warned, at times the characters in the Pat strip are like the Anti-Muppets.
Where is the best place to find cold-hearted souless eating machines? Washington D.C. They made their way towards the nation's capital, hoping to find the monsters. Instead they ran across Sam Eagle, who was selling maps to the nation's landmarks. "It may not pay much, but it is good honest...
What puzzled me about MFS was that the meaner, more adult Muppets like Rizzo, Statler and Waldorf were kept out of the main flow of action while they focused on a core group of kinder sweeter Muppets like Kermit, Gonzo, Fozzie, Bunson and Beaker. The reason Pepe was so applauded in that movie...
What I meant was that Mickey, Donald and Goofy haven't had a novel concept applied to them in years (House of Mouse doesn't count, cause that's really cross promoting every single Disney property ever made all at once.) They put alot of promotion into Winnie the Pooh and Buzz Lightyear and if...
