I used to do the teacher/school thing with the canned goods (veggies, etc.) that my dad brought home from the store. I'd sit on the kitchen floor and the biggest can (sweet potatoes, it was, one time) was the teacher, leading the rest of the can students onto the bus. My mom always made me ask...

I had 2 imaginary friends... I remember their names and that somehow I let my dad name them but I don't remember how he got away with that.

My first reaction was, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" *Sigh* I'm devastated. The Andy Griffith Show has always been a classic in my family; my parents made sure of that.

The Big Bird costume my mom made back in the day for my sister to wear on Halloween looked better than that.

U.S. Gymnastics Trials are this weekend- they actually started tonight. (If we're getting really technical they started earlier this week with Trampoline U.S. Championships - the Olympians in that event were named last night.) But since I don't care about trampoline- MOVING ON... I'm going...

I work in a daycare center and some of the 15, 16 year olds that work there part-time were shocked to find out that the Old Woman Who Lived in the Shoe did not "kiss (her kids) all soundly and send them to bed"... Yes, some of the things from my/our youth are now considered old-fashioned or...

I use songfacts.com quite frequently... though the "user comments" sections tend to be the center of "this song is about drugs and you can't convince me otherwise"-type debates. :sigh:
