He's got the answer for everything, 'cause he da guru!
I noticed that too. I also noticed something was really wrong with Oscar when the convoy is first pulling out of Sesame Street.
I AM BIG BIRD seems to have a number of behind-the-scenes photos and videos, so maybe we'll get to see those in...
I forgot about this thread, but Bob Newhart actually came to my town a couple of years ago for a show. It was good, but I left feeling like we were short-changed, and I felt like I wanted more: the show itself was allotted for two hours, but it's like a third of that time period was dedicated to...
Hey Drtooth, guess what? I heard that other Meghan Trainor song you were talking about for the first time yesterday. The one where she sings, "Tell me do ya think I'm dumb?" And yes, like you, I too found myself saying, "YES!!!"
Makes me wonder how some people with decent voices are never...
I'd rather they not go with THE MUPPET SHOW, because then it would seem like they're intentionally trying to reboot TMS, which is the last thing we would want (and honestly, aside from filthy sitcoms, cheaply-produced reality shows, and bloody medical dramas that all claim they're going to be...
Although I wasn't a fan of the ATC era, there's a couple of episodes that keep sticking out in my mind lately.
The first one was from earlier in that period (maybe Season 25, 26, or even 27), involing Gabi having a slumber party with Big Bird and Tarrah. Okay, really, just about the only thing...
Hooper's has always been like the watering hole, so-to-speak, of the street, it's a central gathering spot for all the residents of the street, so it kind of makes sense that we would see Alan and Chris a lot, considering they work there.
I thought she was always obstinate. But then again, I think I remember her being an opera singer more than anything.
Kinda like Mr. K - I remember him more as a football player than for his kicks. I actually remember when we were learning about Mr. K, our teacher asked if any of us could tell...
I guess that's why they eventually shortened DISNEY'S BRAND SPANKIN' NEW DOUG to just DISNEY'S DOUG.
But I never understood movies that did that: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF WINNIE THE POOH? THE NEW ADVENTURES OF PIPPI LONGSTOCKING? THE NEW JACKIE CHAN MOVIE?
(Reference to that last one )
Admittedly, the more I look at those original designs, the more I think they look like stuff I would've drawn when I was in kindergarten, before I really developed any kind of style to my drawing.
And just for another example of how P.C. the new Letter People are today, remember when Mr. H had...
She has a PhD in education, and I know she travels to different schools across the country and gives assemblies; she came to my school when I was in Grade 6 in 2000 - she talked about the origins of SST as well as the origins of PBS, and about the impact educational television has on children.
You know how Yoshi was introduced in Super Mario World, and at that time, there were only four of them (green, red, yellow, and dark blue)? I was watching Let's Plays of it on YT, and it actually never occured to me that in that game, they all have the same color shoes. All this time, I could...
That loading/buffering problem you guys keep talking about has been happening to me more frequently these last few days, it's gotten to the point that certain videos I have to refresh the page upwards of seven times to get the video to load.
Season 33 was her last season, so she's been gone for well over ten years now.
Ironically, there was an episode in Season 37 (I think), where Bob had a deaf niece who was visiting him, and other characters like Elmo acted like they never met a deaf person before.
Well, and don't forget too, as has been pointed out, part of the reason for that too is they can't afford to have all of the human cast on the show all at once, which is why whenever they do, it's usually for season premieres/finales, or for special occasions (i.e. "I'll Miss You, Mr. Hooper").
