I like how the article acts like it's unbelievable that THE THREE STOOGES movie is getting a sequel.
Really? In this day and age, you're surprised that a movie is getting a sequel? Where have you been? In a cave?
Yeah, but internet transactions are sketchy, it's always a big risk purchasing something over the internet. Yeah, I know there's a lot of secure sites out there, and internet shopping is "the future" (the ghosttown-esque malls and other countless business shutting down physical locations can be...
Here's the thing too: the entertainment market in general is dominated by males, that's just a given, and that's always been a problem (slightly OT, but that's one of the reasons Courage wasn't merchandised, because apparently boys aren't going to want to buy products of a pink dog), so the...
I don't know about that. He might actually find it interesting, because delving into the characters' personal lives as this series intends to do lends itself to Jim's concept that the characters were never really "characters" in the sense of the word, but rather they were a troupe of actors that...
As I said before too, I wish the Muppet didn't have to fall into the trend of copying other popular shows, since almost all shows have tried to copy THE OFFICE since it ever hit the airwaves - they've always been above that, and always did their own thing. Sure, they've mocked, spoofed...
Like others, I can put up with a little Josh Groban just to see both the Muppets and Lindsey Stirling together.
Probably the best video yet. I'll agree with the sentiments that Piggy's been flanderized (yeah, she's always been a diva, but going so far as to try and sabotage the show just...
Cookie's really been given a lot of limelight exposure for the last few years, and rightfully so. Crumby Pictures? Cookie Thief? And the viral videos you mentioned? Yeah, Elmo's been "the voice" for SST for a while now, but really, Cookie has been one of the embodiedments of the street since the...
Keep in mind: Big Bird's head is four-and-a-half pounds, and Oscar usually has to be performed in really tight and cramped areas . . . and Caroll's reached his 80s, the physical demands are probably taking more of a toll on him now than they did 40 years ago, or even ten. And he's even said, he...
I can kind of see how this could be considered as "nothing" in the "grand scheme of thing" - as I've said many, many times before, inspite of the fact that internet is "the future," not everybody in the world has internet access, and there's still a lot of computer illiterate people in the world...
Actually, most cartoons that previously had laugh tracks had them removed from reruns and even DVD releases, like THE FLINTSTONES, for example. Back then, it was simply a standard, but it really wasn't until THE ARCHIE SHOW that laugh tracks for cartoons also joined that standard, because it was...
I felt the same way about the 80s Chipmunks cartoon: the first five seasons with Ruby-Spears had fitting music scored by Dean Elliott, but when they switched to Fred Wolf and later DiC, Chuck-Rucker Productions did the music - not that their other work is bad (hey, who doesn't remember all the...
Sorry Drtooth, but Maria's another afflicted/Disease of the Week character.
She's a stutterer.
Although the episode's already aired in Australia, it's only available on the internet in Korean, but it's pretty much determined that she has a stuttering problem.
That's why OCs are not original characters, and they shouldn't be called as such. They're fan-created characters, and therefore should be called fan-characters, or FCs. There's hardly any originality in such characters.
I wouldn't call Disney the Muppets' savior. Yours maybe, but not theirs. After all, it took 'em seven years to finally realize there's a lot of potential to be had with them; prior to that, one bombed TV movie, one modest TV special, and dozens of shelved projects, one of which was the pilot...
