Another nice moment in "Honk of Honks" is when Gobo takes a quick trip to the Gorg's garden to see if Junior has anything that honks. It's a brief scene, but in a way its works. It shows how normal it now is for Gobo and Junior to be talking to each other like friends, rather than thumper and...
Awesome song, MN!
I had the weirdest dream just the other night. My father was at the doctor's worrying about Arthritis. The good doctor and I were trying to get him to try a different medication. Sounds straight forward enough...but guess who the doctor was (I swear)! Our own, Doctor Teeth...
Aw, that's definitely a great loss to the entertainment world. I remember always seeing those guys on the behind the scenes shows, they created something very special with Disney. And I do agree, wherever they are, they are continuing the good work. ;)
Yeah I mean you always have that voice in your head saying "Oh no, just keep quiet, don't embarrass yourself." (I know I do!) But if you listen to that voice too much, you end up keeping all your gifts inside where no one can see them. And it's the world's loss as well as your own. ;)
It depends on the day. Sometimes I'm a little nervous and hold back (and always regret it later). Other days I'm really into sharing my knowledge and impressing people. Hehe!
I love that you looked up Oceanview Illinois, I had wondered about that, lol. And the candidate for Mensa comment, hehe.
Probably one of my favorite scenes from Follow that Bird is Maria reading Big Bird's letter. It's so sweet and hilarious and first but then gets very sad and melancholy...
Yay! Steve conducted an interview with Fran Brill recently and was courteous enough to ask the Richard question for us (good thing I asked him! ;) )
"He was probably the most extroverted human being I have ever, ever met! And that's a wonderful thing to have on the set. He just was free as can...
Aww, I ADORED that intro with Praire and Zoe! I can totally identify with her watching SS and Mr. Rogers occasionally when she was down, lol, and also trying hard to make it in her business life too.
I do recall the Solid Foam drummer either being credited once with Fran, or at least she was...
You're right, the cuts are more like a movie, where the camera stays with the person, so we can get a full realization of the emotions. People probably wondered why Jim and the others chose to shoot the show like a movie rather than TV. I think it show Jim was determined to give his projects the...
Wow, that's a really odd mistake for the teacher to have made! Aw, you shouldn't be embarrassed. People may give you a hard time sometimes, but eventually they often also come to respect you for sticking to your guns. ;)
Also wanted to add about "Sidebottom Blues": those scenes of Richard performing Junior in the FR Behind the Scenes shows are all from that episode. ;)
You know, I hadn't thought of it before, but you're right, I do think that's what they're going for in that scene. It was a very different...
Oh thanks, yeah that's from "Sidebottom Blues", one of the episodes that will be included on the Fourth Season Fraggle Rock set (Please let September come soon! Lol).
I'm going to go on record as Ms. Anti-Sidebottom. I mean I feel sorry for him sometimes, but Boober's always been my favorite...
Right, around the time Walt died Disney fell off the radar in the '70s and to a certain extent in the '80s, until the new movies came about (Little Mermaid etc). In a way, the Muppets took over from Disney in the '70s, filled a hole that was missing in entertainment. Now the Muppets are going...
I'm going to bring a little love to Muppets Take Manhattan yet again (Can't help it, it's just my favorite!), lol. As we've all said many times, the film is such an emotional roller coaster. And I'm glad the last major Muppet movie before Jim's death focused so much on Kermit. We got to see him...
