Yeah, they do tend to play the Muppet's only one more often these days. I really want to take back what I said before about it being dull. After seeing it over and over again, I really like it. I guess I preferred the Jessica Simpson commercial because it was centered more around  and...
Yeah, that part was good but I wish he had been given a speaking part. I wouldn't have known if it was Carrol or Matt playing Big Bird if I hadn't read the end credits. To be honest, I was kind of disappointed. I thought the characters would interact more with the Muppets. It seems more like...
Didn't she say that Susan and Gordon got married on the show? I thought they were married from the beginning. Then again, I wasn't born when the show started and I really only know one actor who played Gordon even though there were really three, so maybe I'm wrong.
Why did they have to wait...
That's good. I thought it was just me who saw it. I was getting worried that my TV was just cursed with showing Muppet commercials. Come to think of it, that wouldn't be so bad. Lol.
Oh! I'm glad you reminded me of that I'll have to set my VCR! Maybe Linda Bove will make a guest appearance as a hearing-impaired friend of Marley Matlin's character. I don't usually watch the show, so I really don't know who the characters are unfortunately.
56, 57, 58, 59, 60.
Hmmm. Interesting question. I remember that Elmo was there when he ran the store. He'd probably react the same way with the newer characters. Just my thoughts.
That's the one I would have if Timelife hadn't screwed up. Maybe I'll ask for that in my Easter Basket. I'd really like to see that Beaker tapdance number.
Just out of curiousity
Did anybody else happen to see the commercial that I just described? They seem to be playing it a lot lately and so far I'm the only one who mentioned it. I was just wondering if anybody else had seen it.
Yeah, they always replace Zoot's last note with the Henson logo on the third episode on each tape. Also, I read once that there are a lot of different variations of Zoot's last note. But on most of the Timelife videos, it always ends with Zoot blowing the sax and shaking. That's sort of why...
Yeah, me too. I guess we'll all have to watch ABC Family around three in the afternoon. That's what time they played it today. Incidentally, I've noticed two different versions of that commercial. One that ended the same as the Jessica Simpson commercial where Piggy spoke in the bullhorn...
I saw the other one just now. They played it on ABC Family. I have to admit that it was kind of dull. It was much shorter than the other one and basically all it was with the Muppets arguing. The one with Jessica Simpson is much more entertaining. It's no wonder we see that one more often.
Yeah, I remember seeing Granny Bird in quite a few books, but I don't recall ever seeing her on the show. I don't remember hearing anything about Big Bird's parents though. Maybe he doesn't know himself. Why else do you think he's called 'Big Bird' instead of having an actual name? Lol.
Yep. The Brooke Sheilds ep was really good. It must of took a lot of time and money to work on all those special effects. It's interesting to learn that Brooke herself actually worked on that ep.
Yeah. I remember that. Actually, I remember a scene in that where the early Big Bird was talking to Matt Robinson's Gordon.
Actually, I don't think I've ever seen the show. I just heard the song on Muppet Central Radio. But still, I've seen early pictures of Ernie and Bert. I don't think...
