Yeah. I liked the look on his face when he heard the secret square alarm: "You gotta tell Elmo when you do that."
I also liked at the end of today's show when he said to Daisy Fuentas "Let's go and have a baby."
Hi, this has nothing to do with Muppets, but since this is the 'general discussion' forum. I thought I'd post here. I keep seeing this ad from the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company that says 'smokers over 21 win a flat screen TV.' No offense to any smokers here. But that is a bad habit and not...
Yeah. I've noticed that too. They said that the 35th season of SS already started, so it couldn't have been a rerun. I think what confused me was that I thought Martin Mull was regularly the center square, so I thought since Alec Baldwin was in the center it might have been a repeat, but...
Thanks for the info. I heard that Frank did perform the voice in that ep at least for "Doin' the Pigeon," so I wasn't sure. Also, I've noticed Matt Vogel seemed to get a lot better at Big Bird. It did sound like Carroll Spinney who voiced him in Journey to Ernie today. He didn't sound quite...
I've seen the segment today with "Joe Hundred" or whatever-his-name is, but then he said that his name was really something else. I don't know if this was his first appearance or if he appeared on the show before. Does anyone have anymore info on this character. He kind of looked like they...
Today was the first time I saw the segment. I was kind of disappointed, because I had hoped the stories would be longer and Gordon would do more. Then again, it was good to see the classic "honker, duckie, dinger, jamboree." I just wish Ernie had been around for that.
Oh by the way...
Yep. I've noticed that too. I didn't know until just now. In fact my local station was going to televise a ball game, but that got postponed because of the weather. I guess now I'm glad that happened. Lol.
By the way, does anyone happen to know if this is a new episode or if this week is...
I think you made a mistake there. Orman didn't play Gordon on the first season of Sesame Street. I take you were referring to a later season of the show or something like that.
Oh, another thing. I can't find the Sesame Street characters on the website you mentioned. Where do I click to...
Actually, I watched my tape of the special and I thought it was really good. It was nice to see all those classic skits that they haven't played in a while. (counting sketch with the baker; Kermits News Flashes, etc.) I also got a glimpse of Matt Robinson as Gordon near the end. I didn't...
Hmmm. I was worried Kevin has been so busy with Elmo lately, he forgot about Hoots. Lol. I'm glad he's still around. Maybe I should by the DVD. I also remember Captain Vegetable. That was another one of my favorites.
Yeah, I think that is the one I described. I guess I just didn't describe it very well. Lol.
Anyway, that's the one I remember seeing when I watched the show as a kid. Thanks for that info.
That sounds cool. Which version of "ABC-DEF-GHI" is it? The one where Big Bird is talking to Susan and the original Gordon about it, the one where he cleans his nest and pulls out the alphabet thing, or do they just show him singing the song?
