Actually, no.
The first Smurf movie was a surprise hit (being the only kid friendly movie released at the time), and it actually killed in Europe, where the Asterix movies (the live action ones, that is) are actually considered worse. So they didn't have the problem of us screwing with the...
I gotta see more of Knuckles in action to see how that's going to play out.
But I really love that they got the video game voice actors for this one. Especially since Mike is still Dr. Eggman. he's been my favorite version of the character, second only to the wonderfully hammy Long John...
That's my feeling too. I don't get this weird thing about it all being a dream, either.
My take was that Kermit is completely desensitized to that kind of chaos. I believe the expression is "For me, it was a Tuesday."
I'm all in favor of recasting characters. I mean, look at how big Cookie Monster came back when David took over the character. Heck, look at the 2 segments this year with Guy Smiley! Frazzle even popped up. Then you look at The Muppets... we had an advertising campaign with Rowlf, Scooter...
Something every Muppet fan should know by now.
If there's one thing I'm sick of saying, myself, is that certain fans whine when a character isn't used because the performer is no longer with them (for various reasons) and then when they bring them back they say "[so and so] doesn't sound the...
I actually give them credit for sneaking new footage in these rerun episodes. That was a pretty fun bit they did right there.
I dunno. It's hard to know what to route for. Either more new episodes a season that will inevitably be rush written (like Judy and the Beast obviously was, that's...
While not quite as impressive, they've also managed to break the last Bat-Barrier.
The complete 1968 cartoon series has been announced as well
Members of this board will probably know it from the 2 Sesame Street segments.
That's one good looking Piggy. Eh, from the puppetry aesthetic of course. So glad we've left huge eared, flat haired Piggy behind.
These are cool, but it would be cooler if they had some physical prize inside the box.
Trying to cobble it all together is madness. best not to bother.
Though, to their credit, you got to love how the last movie tried to do canon... then basically said that those were movies anyway. :smirk:
There is nothing wrong with refilming these classic bits. If they did, I wonder if they'd take the approach of rerecording the songs or just having the current puppets mime the originals (like the Rubber Duckie and La La La La segments they did a decade ago).
The Herculean task would be to get...
That's not so much a trailer as much as a soft message against internet piracy. Thankfully, a not preachy hypocritical Jewish Mother size guilt trip, as they usually do.
A Live action Star Wars show would require quite a lot of money and planning. The murmurs of a Star Wars TV series go back quite a while, and nothing was done with that concept. Lucas himself stated he wanted it to have no less than 100 episodes. That clearly scared off any network who was...
We're actually going to get the first Star Wars movie under Disney this summer!
That is The TV movie pilot of the new animated Star Wars Rebels series. Too bad they're not theatrically releasing it. Then again, critics took a royal dump on the Clone Wars pilot film, so there's no real...
In the past 2 nights of TV watching, I haven't seen a show not have that Highlander commercial during at least one of their commercial breaks. Hopefully that translates to more movie tickets bought.
Now if they can start back up with the movie TV spots....
