Looks like they were right in planning a sequel, at least fiscally.
The movie took in almost 70 million bucks this weekend. It BETTER have. The theater I saw it in was so crowded, I had to sit in the waaay back. It was like watching it on one of those phones.
Totally worth it, of course.
And for those of us who don't like sports, absolutely everything on every other channel has to be a rerun for fears that they'll lose to the Olympics in the ratings.
YAY! :grouchy:
Anyway. What I saw of the opening ceremonies was pretty good, but I was half expecting Nu Pogodi to be...
Indeed.
This thread was about the premiere of Ryan performing Elmo in one outside of the show segment almost a year ago. There's no shortage of new Elmo segments where Ryan took over, and therefore, this thread has served its purpose.
Any Elmo appearances and news interviews since would...
Sometimes they are. I'm more annoyed by "This video is unavailable."
But let's not forget. Most of the time the video wasn't the reason the account was taken down, but rather one of the videos taken down due to another video and that video's copyright.
I liked it better when they said which...
M11 had the strange distinction of making Gonzo a brick joke. It's a shame that most of his other stuff was edited down to the bone, though.
I wouldn't so much say he's been phased out from that, since LTS was technically all about him.
The even worse moment when it's PewDiePie, and you've never seen anything remotely related to his crappy videos....
Or that even worser moment when you have to reload the video 3 or 4 times to actually get sound.
Two things...
One, HEY! Welcome to 1999, Lifetime! We were waiting for you to get hip and relevant for all the homies getting crunk in the cloughb. You got any films in the works about hanging chads? pretty sure they were warning kids about going in chatrooms and meeting people back when...
Wasn't X-Factor supposedly a general talent competition? Yeah. America's Got Talent already beat them to the punch. But, yeah. When is Idol finally going to be put out of its misery? The ratings keep sinking, no one even cares who wins anymore... and often times those who lose actually have...
I saw one of those buses that they have this huge advertisement shrink wrapped all over (or whatever you call it)...
Gecko, Pig and Camel. All three. He's been promoted to third major advertising mascot for Geico.
That was the joke. You know the saying, "those who can't, teach." I get what they were trying to do with the character. The whole, it's not about winning, it's having fun and taking the fun out of something for competition sake makes it hard, unrewarding work. But it seems that either they...
Oh, yeah. No doubt it would have creeped a bunch of kids out. It's just a lot tamer than the description let on. But it really doesn't strike me as it was pulled. It seems likely that it scared kids, sure, but it seems more likely that it was just one skit of hundreds and got lost in the...
I wouldn't even give them that much credit.
Even Studio Brinquendo (or whatever the heck that is) would do a better job, and even Ratatoing is more worthy of a trilogy.
Something tells me that Alpha Omega's going to be the next Land Before Time. Er... as in crappy DTV sequels... not quality.
Yeah. Can't say I'm huge into that new Knuckles design, but on the other hand, not as bad as I thought it would be.
I seriously hope they expand the cast and get the Chaotix team in the series. It's a shame they were so underused in Sonic X. Especially since they kinda ruined their premiere...
Well, Scooby-Doo did make enough money to warrant a sequel, not to mention he was WB's biggest cash cow at the time. So there's no real comparison there. Plus, the second one was actually good instead of a bunch of lame Brady Bunch movie style jokes.
Now, I could care less for a Pitch...
What I don't get is how every animation error falls into "Off Model."
Off model refers to and only to when animators, or licensees either do not refer to the model sheet, or screw up the character likenesses in some extent.
Off Model is NOT character talking out of the wrong character's...
Yeah. Looking at it as an adult, it really doesn't seem too creepy. Probably lessened by the fact the Crack master was just narrated, and didn't have the sinister, deep voice you'd expect. But then again, a lot of the sketches that some claim that scared them just didn't bug me at all. I...
You have a point there. It felt like 2 street stories crushed into one, and it seems like something that would either work better as a 2 part episode or something that would have worked better when they broke the street plot into segments. But overall, I thought it was pretty enjoyable. Much...
