That reminds me of Big Bird's birthday special where CM knew he couldn't eat Big Bird's cake, but he devored everything else on "Sesame Street." I wonder if the writers had that early ep in mind when they made that special.
That ep might just be a symptom of their deeper problem. The fact that they both liked Maria. Lol.
Seriously though, was there a time when Gina was the assistant to Mr. Hanford? I sort of remember her being at Hooper's after David left, but maybe I'm wrong.
Yeah, I've seen a mention on Sonia's website or somewhere on the web where she talked about her real daughter not wanting to be on the show. I guess she just wanted to have a normal home life. I'm assuming it was the same case with Miles Orman.
Yeah. I hear they stopped airing "Elmo Saves Christmas" after Alan took over Hooper's store since Mr. Hanford was still there at the time. Kind of a dumb reason not to play the show anymore, especially considering they still played the one with Mr. Hooper long after his death. I don't know...
I have to agree. I've heard Kermit's original version of 'Bein' Green' and Kermit did sound a lot more like Ernie there rather than the way he does now. But I did notice quite a difference in the two voices specifically in the ep of TMS with Connie Stevens where Bert and Ernie show up. When I...
Yeah, I've seen Little Bird in books and in one sketch about the word "casa." However, since it was established that Snuffy was Big Bird's best friend, they probably felt that Little Bird was no longer needed. However, I do recall the 90s ep with Little Bird looking for a home. It's possible...
I didn't even think about Fran or Kevin. I think Kevin did play Elmo at the time, but since he didn't say anything it's possible Kevin might not have been there. Rudman probably performed additional characters when two characters with the same puppateer were in the same scene. (Ex: Bert and...
Yeah, the Pearl Bailey was the only "At the Dance" I've seen with Floyd and a Richard Hunt Janice. For the most part, I've just seen Erin's Janice in those sketches in the first season. I'm sure there were more with Floyd and the Janice we know today, but I haven't seen them.
Actually, you forgot to mention the fact that from "Muppets from Space" onward she had shorter blonde hair. That looks okay. Too be honest I wasn't too big on the curls she had in "The Muppets Take Manhattan." I actually preferred her hair on the later seasons of TMS. I liked her hair not...
I've wondered about that too. In an ep of "Muppet Babies" it was established that Robin was the son of Kermit's big sister.
Yet, I do think about that line in the Bernadette Peters episode (I think that's the one) where :) says, "I'll get your father." So that could be an indication that...
Hmmm. I think there would have been some mention of Miss Piggy being previously married or having any kind of romantic relationship before Kermit. Besides, according to most sources she was very young in the first season of TMS, so I wouldn't think she's much older than the others.
As for...
Yeah, I've read lines of dialogue from the ep about Mr. Hooper's death at the Lyrics Archive and I looked through the book at toughpigs.com, but I do wonder how the whole ep went. How does the neighbor's baby fit in to this?
