    Bunsen's inventions.

Okay let me give this a try: Paul Williams: That dohickey that turns dishes into some kind of fold-up material. Peter Ustinov: Some kind of device that made him control Peter or something like that. Avery Schreibner: The famous gorilla detector Phylis Diller: Some kind of device that...

i need a pic (s) of all three Gordans please

I think you can find all three of them at the "Hooperfan" site.

I never thought about it, but you're probably right. When you see Whoopi on 'Sesame Street' or in Muppet projects she's usually with Kevin's characters. She even had a scene with Elmo on 'Hollywood Squares.' Yeah, she and Kev must be close. It's too bad Kevin wasn't in IVAMCCM (with the...

How to get to Sesame Street and other information!

O.K., let me give this a try: 1. John Tartiagoala voiced Ernie on season 2 of PWMS. That was probably the Ernie voice you heard. I've never seen the show, so I don't know what John's Ernie sounded like. But I'm assuming that if it wasn't Jim or Steve, it must have been John. Yet Steve...

    "Christmas Eve" Episode

Yeah, I remember the gang teaching Snuffy how to roller skate in 'Big Bird's Birthday' special. Yes, I guess I can see where ice skating and roller skating are different. Big Bird roller skates as a hobby all the time, but he didn't know how to ice skate until that girl showed him. Also, I...

    Sonia Manzano's debut

Now I'm starting to feel left out after reading this thread since I'm 25 and I still don't have an apartment. *sigh*

    "Christmas Eve" Episode

Yeah, they got skaters from "Holiday on Ice" for Bert, Ernie, the Count, and Cookie Monster. They must have used one for Big Bird as well. I never actually realized that wasn't Carroll Spinney. I guess they needed a professional to have somebody skate in that huge Big Bird costume. Then...

    Sonia Manzano's debut

Actually, I remember Maria's mother. She appeared some time in the 80s. I can't remember who played her, but I remember a segment where Maria told Big Bird that even though she's an adult, her mother still felt that she should go with her when she crosses the street. I even remember Big Bird...

    "Christmas Eve" Episode

Yeah, I realized we were kind of getting off topic. Perhaps, we could continue discussing Thanksgiving specials in the "General Discussion" thread or something like that and get back to the original topic here.

    2005 Macy's parade: Sesame Street

Yeah. I saw it. I didn't see Maria or Samara. Strangely, I saw Luis with his arm around Susan. That didn't look right. I did see quite a few kids there though. I don't know who that reddish monster was either. It was a nice touch including Alice and Barkley. I wish they'd be seen on the...

Clifford looking like Whoopi? Nah. I didn't see much of a resemblance when she appeared on MT.

    "Christmas Eve" Episode

I've noticed that too. On the TV version, it just shows them eating pie. But I remember them eating the turkey before. That is strange, especially considering Woodstock's cannibalistic habits.

    Jerry Nelson Recasts

Well, that makes sense, since Rowlf and Dr. Teeth have always sounded similar. By the way, has Robin been seen in anything since Jerry's retirement? I think I read on Toughpigs that he appeared on "Good Morning America," but I'm not sure. By the way, I don't think Rickey Boyd ever...

    "Leave....Or Be Dooooomed!!!!"

Yeah. I wonder about the production order for season 1. The Connie Stevens ep being redone, is probably the reason Fozzie's voice is better in the Connie Stevens episode than in the Joel Grey episode. Then there's the Harvey Korman episode where Richard Hunt performed Miss Piggy the whole way...

    A Very Muppetational Thanksgiving

I've only read up to chapter 17 so far, but I thought I'd comment here. It's really good. It was funny that J.P. was avoiding talking about the family history. I liked that Skeeter was mentioned. I also liked that you brought back Muppets Tonight characters such as Seymour, Andy and Randy...

    "Leave....Or Be Dooooomed!!!!"

Yeah, to tell the truth. I never thought the news reports were that funny in the early eps. I did enjoy them more when things started happening to him. I guess Uncle Deadly was just trying to help make that segment better. Lol. Another thing to keep in mind was about the "news tip...

    Sonia Manzano's debut

It's not uncommon for people in their 20s to play teens on TV. Melissa Joan Hart was 20 something when she started playing Sabrina who was 16 at the time. Another example was Stacey Dash from "Clueless."

    Roosevelt Franklin and Sesame Workshop

Actually, I'm pretty sure Kingston was seen this season. I remember him singing "Be Yourself." I guess they haven't used him in any new material though.

    Who was Harriet??

I'm sorry. I really can't go into much detail there. I just remember seeing her off and on when I watched the show as a kid. I can't exactly remember which seasons. Probably some time in the 80s. I guess she was sort of a semi-regular.

    "Christmas Eve" Episode

I agree. I watched "Elmo's World: Happy Holidays" recently and I realized that "Elmo Saves Christmas" was much better. "Happy Holiday's" focused too much on Elmo. But ESC was different. Though Elmo was the main character, a lot of others got some screen time as well.
