You know...I just thought of something...Big Bird is trying to find out how Santa Claus gets down the chimeny, right? Why didn't he just ask Cookie Monster, who somehow seemed to obtain Kris Kringle's phone number? :insatiable::wisdom:
I wonder what Elmo would say in an interview considering his small part in the film:
"::sigh:: All Elmo did was stand in a window at the end! Elmo coulda be a contender!" Hehe
My favorite moment in FTB, even if it's a little sad, is when Big Bird is leaving and Maria yells, "Don't forget, Big Bird, we love you!" The music is so melancholy at that moment. ::sniff::
Ok total geek time here, but did anyone else notice Santa's voice randomly changed in that commerical one year? Lol
Yup definitely, McDonald's was good at doing commercials that had nothing to do with food, just the warmth feeling you associate with them, hehe.
One I'm still trying to find...
I couldn't figure out how to respond until right now, while watching "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Kris Kringle learns from the animals to laugh "hard and wonderful, like he meant it!" I think that fits perfectly. :D

I mean I won't be in denial, Elmo is very popular. But I know there are also kids who like classic SS. It was true when I was a kid and it's true now, that kids who don't follow the trend are rarely heard from. But they're still out there. ;)
Aw, they just showed Mickey's Christmas Carol on ABC Family, I haven't seen that for years! Disney used to be such a big part of my childhood. The part where Mickey's at Tiny Tim's grave is so sad. And Scrooge McDuck always been one of my favorite characters.
Plus that line "Scrooge...the...
Yeah kids don't change that much, they still appreciate quality. ;)
Plus the film isn't about education so much; it's more about a touching story. :)
Not that I think the Old School sets should have had that disclaimer for education either! ;)
I agree, the show used to go into depth more with the characters and show them actually getting upset. Having a little bit of drama is how good stories are created, even on "kid's shows." ;)
