Well I kinda see what you mean. In the past, Sam's character was that he detested sick popular tastes and preferred high culture. Talking about breaking the law isn't quite the same thing. Again, it's more kiddie-ish.
But you really can't judge until you see something. :)
Yeah I get you, I like the original painting too. I guess they wanted to differentiate this one, or make it look like all the other SS DVDs.
I just hope no parents write into Amazon saying, "Nice, but where was Elmo?" Lol. Though I've read the Amazon reviews for the original FTB DVD before...
Another reason Wal Mart should be outlawed. I pray for all the people involved in that horrible event. I'm not terribly surprised by the behavior of the patrons to be honest, though very disapointed. People complain that the holidays have become too secular. I think the problem no one wants to...
Oh my, that is awesome! Eh, from the way everyone was talking I thought there was a close up of Elmo or something, hehe. The cover's OK, at least all the other guys are in it and Big Bird is most prominent. :)
I hope parents are inclined to buy it for their kids! It's message of different...
No it's not selfish, you're human after all. ;) I definitely understand the frustration and I think most people would too. A long time ago for my birthday I pretty much got only a bicycle. Which I needed and was happy about. But I felt slightly let down, lol.
The thing is, as you get to be a...
Heh, ok that's weird. You're right, on the site it's definitely Steve and Dave. I'm going to check the ornament in the store again.
No offence at all to Steve and Dave, but I would have preferred the original voices. I mean last year's ornament with Piggy and Kermit was from the original...
That's true, I imagine it was a very exciting time, I wish I could have experienced it.
Also, another reason why the moon landing wasn't faked...have you seen the capabilities of Television in the 1960s? I mean, good shows and all, but primitive quality. There's no way the landing would have...
I always knew as a kid that part of watching Sesame Street was occasionally getting scared to death, lol. I don't think adults quite remember how children perceive the world when they create things sometimes, lol. Still, somehow I always kept watching, because the good parts outweighed...
Yeah that's the alternate title, same movie. Don't know why there's an alterate title but, lol.
Yeah I'll have to get all my specials out too, like March of the Wooden Soldiers, Rugrats Christmas (the original!), and Charlie Brown Christmas. And thankfully ABC Family is still airing the old...
Do you mean Santa Claus Conquers the Martians? I love that, especially with the Mystery Science Theater guys, lol. But even by itself, it is sort of sweet how the Martian family learns to love Christmas. Sweet...but corny, hehe.
I still feel like they've slightly gone in the other direction of being too kiddie-ish. I mean I liked the John Denver Christmas special where Kermit and John talk about the universal spirituality of Christmas, and not just Santa, because the Muppets were geared toward both kids and adults...
Well you know it's a fact that all religions borrowed from each other through the ages, which I think worked overall, hehe. ;)
I like that the story ends up being about the Son of God being born in a stable, instead of a palace, giving dignity to the poor and regular human beings. And the...
Definitely a great work of art to be proud of, MN! ;)
Lol, OK so I was heading to a meeting tonight. It starts at 8 and I am usually pretty late (like around 9). This time I managed to get there around 8:20. My friend was glad to see me but joked that I was late again. Slightly embarrassed, I...
