So it seems this dire prediction corresponds more with your disapproval of a new show than anything that has to do with Fox. I think it's waaaaay to soon to begin any speculation on that line. It's just looking like another "glass half empty" sort of statement in a chain of many having to do...

I need to point out that your statement is rather misleading. Fox has a track record of being much more supportive of their programs through hard times as compared to the NBC, CBS and ABC. I do admit that networks can be ruthless when making these decisions and Fox is not exempt from...
That was a major development that came about a couple of weeks ago.
Sweetums has always been a size, packaging and price concern. By releasing him with the stage they can keep uniformity with the packaging. I believe he will still come with Robin. Keep in mind that the playset has...
I agree. The Green Goblin mask should have broken at the jawline so you could see his mouth at the very least. I saw a version of the Green Goblin that looked nothing like that - and much scarier too. But that's my only real complaint for the otherwise great film. No slow parts - rare these days!

In Hollywood Squares this week, I tried to notice if Miss Piggy's head and body moved together and they really didn't. Maybe they changed the puppet. About difference of movement - Kermit still moves differently than Jim's version. It's just something we'll get used to, I guess...
I think all the biggies have been covered too. Sweeetums will come out with the Theater playset which will be released around the time of wave three, so there's no competition there. There has been some concern about the rights of Mahna Mahna so I don't know what will come of that. I don't think...
I was thinking the same thing, but we do get Rowlf in series one! He's one of the best and I'm sure wave one will do really well! I was hoping for Gonzo or Scooter in the first wave. And I'm still curous what Animal will look like. All that hair is difficult to sculpt.
It is a cool theater, but it is kind of a zoo. I have been there on many occasions, but have troubles with something half the time I go. Really great screens though! I also saw Fantasia Imax there. I prefer Van Ness because the screens are great and it takes me like 60 seconds to go down there...
I agree with you there. Well, except for the frackles. I think they do have appeal and were featured heavily on the show. Technically the green and blue frackles names are Boppity and Gloat and the new green frackle's name is Mo. I still think a playset of packaged Muppet Monsters would be fab...
Yeah, that would be cool. I'm probably going to the next puppet guild meeting in a week or so.
I think that the film is supposed to look better digitally projected because the film transfer from digital film appears murky. You think they could fix that.
It's strange because if you look at the other version of Gonzo in the Toy Fair photos, the color looks a lot closer to the original. They are still prototypes, but I find it strange that they are going in the opposite direction in making Gonzo's nose blue-er.
That's what I originally heard before other critics started slamming it. But then again - these critics that say the new films don't live up to the originals didn't like the first trilogy much in the first place so it all has to be taken with a grain of salt. I'm stoked!
I have often felt that Frank's Piggy has sounded weird for the past decade. I hope he keeps working with the Muppets when he can, but I am no longer worried about his replacement. I just want to hear Fozzie now!
Finally I hear Miss Piggy definitely being performed by Eric Jacobson! He is fantastic. He doesn't sound quite like Oz's Piggy these days, rather is sounds closer to classic Piggy toward the end of The Muppet Show. I am very happy to see the pig in such capable hands..er hand. :) :) :)

Series one will contain Kermit, Rowlf, Beaker and Bunsen at $50-60 each. I'm going to be so poor. These are scheduled to be released October/November.
Series two will contain Statler (not yet pictured but you can find him in the group shot)...

I can understand a little about the missing light cords, but that's pretty nit-picky. The lights don't turn on either, but that's not a big deal.
However, the truss is very much the color, style and shinyness of the original set pieces used in The Muppet Show, so I don't see much of...
