Unfortunately there is no ABC Family Channel or Zoog Channel in the San Francisco market unless you get a dish. I have considered it, because even the expanded cable here bites. You just get more home shopping channels and HBO in different time zones etc. We never even got Odyssey and we still...
Hey Kev
We'll miss you around here, but I'm sure you'll have fun in Mexico! I remember going there as a kid - it was soooo incredibly hot. The frogboy is a rather fair-skinned fella. Being from Texas, if I say it's hot, it's darn hot!
I remember the highlight of my trip is at the...
Most widescreen DVDs are anamorphic - that is, with the exception of very few. I think another point in the DVD debate is that Disney is one of the last companies to release its titles in this format. They held out longer than any other company and I think it's taking them longer to understand...
I just don't see why the fact those these are -projected- release dates aren't iterated by the companies. If a film were to set a date and come out 2 months later, the public would be livid, I guess it is much different for the world of collectibles and action figures. This is an area that many...
This is rather irritating. I understand that Palisades doesn't have much control over when stores see fit to stock their shelves, but this was an April release! It's not going to his stores till June. I guess we can expect these stores to release series 2 in February.
Can't...

Why the DVD should be released in widescreen:
A film is made to fit the more rectangular screen of a theater - when released on video the sides of the film have been trimmed off in order to fit inside the limited area of the television screen. This means information is lost. If...

I still say that cropping the film is "poor treatment" as I have stated. It basically speaks volumes of how Disney feels like marketing the Muppets - only to kids. They have a widescreen version sitting around on a shelf somewhere but are refusing to use it! That is my point on that...
I know after all I've said about Disney that it may sound strange, but as for longevity of the Muppets - Disney is their best bet bar none. It's a cool idea that they may get a special secion of the park (extension of Muppet Vision) and will live on that way. I think that's what Jim saw all...
I have the feeling I will have some of the same concerns I had in EP 1: Spectacular effects, poor dialog, hire an editor. But this one does prove to be much more exciting and has brought the wars part back into Star Wars. The last one just seemed like a very long pod race, but no teeth. I...
The new labels are a temporary fix. There will be some restructuring of the site in months to come. Exciting things that I am sure you will like. Change is good:)
Luke-
I received confirmation of the remaining 5 DVDs being released only a few weeks ago. Very cool! Much of this news is rather old to me and I did post about it when I receved word, but it seems that some of these threads get buried if they are not read immediately. I wish there were more...
I admit that some weigh is in my protein bars and I love cheese on pizza. Although i usually eat soy cheese and hardly ever eat pizza. Maybe a slice every couple months to keep me sane. :p
JUST CAUGHT THE COMMERCIAL
Very cute. It was the same as the radio one mentioned. It was definitely Eric's Piggy (great job). It aired at 1:05 AM during CBS Late Late Show. It's hit the networks now so we'll definitely be seeing more of it! :)
Just caught the Dennys commercial at 1:05 AM on the CBS Late Late Show (I usually watch Conan, but Mondays are reruns). I guess it will be playing on network TV so don't worry. It was with Kermit and Piggy and it was definitely Eric doing Piggy - he did a great job.
