I'm not a vegan. I have a corn allergy (which is in everything) and I'm kind of considered health nut by my friends. I'm was a vegetarian, but now I have fish, protein from gelatin and will start even eating chicken soon, but that's it. That is considered being a California vegetarian.
It's...
That's true, kinda. I have done that in many restaurants because I kind of have to. I'm picky about what I eat, but still want to be social with my friends. It's just a shame that the American diet is made up of such terrible things IMHO:eek: I shouldn't single out only Dennys though - many...
Eeeek! You are kidding me. Drop everything, go to the store and pick up the DVD. It is considered by many as Jim Henson's best film. Just beautiful, and unlike anything that had come before it.

Ah, sorry I misread it. I getcha now. LOL! I still think Nigel, Lewis, George and Mildred are interesting enough for their own figures, but they are longshots.

Sophie's Choice? Meryl Streep is Sophie! A film made back in 82. I can't give away the ending, but she has to make a...

I just really think this whole discussion was approached rather poorly. It was made out to seem like Sophie's Choice with the Muppet characters when that really might not be the case at all.:)

Weird. I don't think I ever knew you were in San Francisco. I'll be avoiding the zoo at the Metreon and I'll probably see it at Van Ness. It's practically next door and I can easily pick my tix up early. That's how I got to see Spiderman so easily.
I do hear from critics that the...
Now what the heck am I going to eat at Dennys? LOL! Their food is toxic to a guy like me, but I'm glad to see the Muppets making their rounds in something. I just wish they'd pick a higher quality product.

You would rather have Turmpet lady and Tatoo lady pig (characters nobody knows that have no names) than Pepe, Kazagger or Nigel (the host of the Muppet Show Pilot I might add)? It just doesn't make sense to me and I find them very unlikely. Ken did take a liking to Lewis Kazagger and I...
Sam is considered by Palisades to be a big gun. I don't really consider him one either.
I see the need to at least include a Kermit and Piggy each year because of their status (though I still wish it were different) but I don't think that Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal, Rowlf, Scooter and Beaker need...
LOL! Yeah, I do hope that many Muppet characters do get made (I even have my fingers crossed for a Midred and George down the line) but I wouldn't mind if the Pep-ster came first.
I wonder if the packaging will reflect a general Muppets line in 2003. If so, I hope that a couple new...
That's true. I hope many of the characters will get made (Lips, Uncle Deadly, Nigel). I also think that if Palisades' license is renewed next year that the aniversary will be over and the series may evolve into a general Muppets line that includes characters old and new.
The reason I...
I completely disagree. I think that Pepe would help the line sell better than 12 versions of Sam the Eagle or Fozzie Bear. I'm a purist too, but I would like to see Pepe introduced. It has nothing to do with Clifford etc. They can wait.

It is ulikely that all of the obscure characters will be made and a couple main/popular characters must be in each wave to help guarantee it's success. So that means there will eather be yet another version of Kermt or Gonzo down the line (when there are already third and even fourth versions...
But Kermit and Piggy are already listed in the line up. So are Fozzie and Gonzo. I donw see why any more of them need to be duplicated next year. It's not that I don't get your point - I just think it goes a little overboard with making third versions of series one characters.
Welcome to the forum! I'm not sure how long you've been around, but I see that this is your first post. To answer your question - Palisades is releasing some spectacular action figures in most toy stores this month. The first few in the series are Kermit, Miss Piggy, Bunsen and Dr. Teeth (Beaker...
